I saw the end of the women's 5.8km The nationalities of the top 3 were: Ethiopian, Kenyan, Ethiopian. They were running on snow! The winner only left Ethiopia the other day, and it was 25 degrees. Why are our runners not trouncing them on what is not only our home turf, but our home snow! She wasn't even wearing breeks. Tell you what, if ever it snows in Ethiopia, they'll all be fine. Erm, Clyde were relegated to the Second Division, so promptly let all players on decent contracts leave, mutually. Why did Livi not try this? Because they want to acrue massive debts trying to get to the sea-side league where they will acrue even further debts in a bid to get to the First Division, ad nauseam... 400K debt to the point of February is absolutely scandalous and should not be allowed to happen. How much will it be by the end of the season or in the Second Division? There's only one outcome here and if you all want to bury your heads in the sand for the 88th time, then feel free. Hopefully once the shite hits the fan, we can all call it a day and bring in an honest club, willing to make their way in the leagues with a degree of prudency and judicious realism. We can only hope.

It took them 3 days to come out to mines (and i pay for the Scottish gas Homecare package, which is meant to be 24hr call out) Ours went out on NYD very early in the morning Didnt even have a proper look at it when they did come, just opened up the front panel, looked for about 5 seconds, then closed it and said they would need to order parts, slapped a big "DO NOT USE" sticker on it (aye fuckin good one, like it could be used ) and then pissed off again. Few days later they finally came round and fixed it. Altogether 6 days without heating in this fuckin weather

We were dumped in the 3rd Division with a 1st Division squad on full-time contracts a few weeks before the transfer window. Not much we could do. What people fail to realise is the fact that a lot our squad are youngsters that have come through the system and aren't on much. In most cases they are the players whose contracts are being renewed for the season beyond (Robbie Winters the only exception). These are the players who are easily better than our team and will be sold on for a pretty penny with a competent board in charge. The Gretna comparison is fanciful.

I have discovered that you can manipulate your + and <FONT color=#ff0000>- rep tally by logging out and logging back in, thus getting extra shots each day. I know this because I was told by the person who's nobbled my overall tally for "a laugh"!

For the last week or so up in Arbroath, I spent about 5 hours a day outside, and it was fine! Man up! Anyway, it appears to be snowing incredibly slowly, and has been for hours. Still, life goes on. Unlike in England. I remember when we were all initially making jokes about the English inability to cope, and we were accused of being anti English. Look at them now! They've got their special reports on tv, the EBC website goes into snow overload, people are panic buying, there is talk of A levels being deferred, birds dying, people in crisis. Meanwhile, in Scotland, life goes on.
