WTAF is the point of having a former Scotland U21 player, former young player of the season and one of our own players with a record for scoring some cracking goals doing sitting on the bench. Why do we have a young guy signed on a 3 year deal who can score goals sitting on the bench for the 90. macgregor and Brookes should have been on before Lawel and Pepel but they’re not Dunc’s choices so they don’t get on.. feckin ridiculous - Today

More Motherwell connections Down Under. Dixie Deans and Jumbo Muir with Adelaide City in 1978. This was an away game at Footscray JUST that City won 1-0. Dixie Deans scored 30 goals in 3 seasons with City. Jim Muir played 5 times for Australia in 1980 (England, Northern Ireland 3, Mexico). The same pen picture of Jim Muir was used in programmes for all the games). -

More from Dundee’s 1978 Australian tour. The picture at the bottom of the 2nd page is of George Campbell from Caol near Fort William. He was who was playing his first season for South Melbourne Hellas having transferred from Aberdeen earlier that year. He was with the Dons from 1972-1978. Jim Hermiston mentioned in the Queensland v Dundee report is another ex Dons and played in the 1969/70 Scottish Cup winning team. -
This is probably a failure of media of all stripes in the UK - but there is nothing in Schengen that stops countries controlling their own borders at need. During Covid, it was very common....

In an ever tightening economy, that's putting a hell of a faith in the 'build it and they will come' ethos, as I said to Robbo earlier. As I've said, I absolutely love what Smith has done for club and ground but the way they're going at the moment, is the same head in the sand nonsense we had over L.B. I hope to F we stay up, I hope they have a huge support package for Brown in a few weeks and we can start kicking on. I will happily eat humble pie and I will buy a season ticket. I will not do tho if they think they can wing it and it's pretty clear I'm not the only one feeling this way. I also believe, if they don't come good on so.e decent singings, Brown will walk. Listening to his interview at H.T. in the ICT game, he's got dreams to go places and strives to be successful, if we can only offer him a new hospitality suite, he's not hanging about. Anyways, here's to a 2-1 win tomorrow and a party. -

It's not that long ago we had 900 at home games. As a long term season ticket holder I feel we are going the right way and have happily bought my new season ticket (for the old stand....... a creature of habit who doesn't like to have to wear sunglasses!) The new income streams will definitely support the player budget, as I'm sure they do already. (As an aside the hub needs to expand in some way, they have worked on the bar queues but they need to look at covering the outside area, even just to keep the rain off and the seats dry as their income is limited by the space). Onwards and upwards, just need to stay up! -

Yes, the core support do, but we want to build and this is my whole point... you need all the other fans in, not just them that'll always go, if you want to make a success. There's no way in hell, I believe a reasonable business plan relays purely on 2k home support, a pub, and a hospitality that, after it's initial opening boom, will fall on it's arse if the footie is absolute gash.
