Should the powers that be consider earlier kick offs to save lower league clubs the cost of running floodlights? the money could be used elswewhere, wages, ground improvements or just keeping the wolves from the door.
Any thoughts?

(1) cost of lighting is negligible in big scheme of things; (2) inconveniences fans; (3) confuses fans; (4) also pools laws?

If it's negligable why do the tight buggers wait until the last possible second before switching them on? laugh.gif

I would hate it and I'm sure most other fans would aswell.

would making more games a 2 0 clock kick in winter a better idea??
most teams arrive at there respective grounds early enough, and are just waiting on getting warmed up and for the game to kick off,the day has got as hot as its going to,which means the pitch will be at its most playable
fans/players/officials will get away at a reasonable hr which hopefully means road conditions should be better
the distance factor will have to be taken into account but common sense should prevail
away fans are usually at the away ground pub afore that so shouldnt really be a hindrance
just my thoughts
