I have, many a time. Every game he plays he gets caught ball watching and lets his man drift in behind him. You're obviously one of those guys who thinks that a bit of pace and a good engine more than makes up for a lack footballing ability and positional awareness

So you think Hutton lacks footballing ability? Fair enough if thats you opinion but its certainly not mine. Hutton is a very good full-back, strong, good tackler, good going forward too.

Losing him for the Dutch is a big blow.

Even if he is fishing, he has a point. Apart from his point about Hutton's lack of footballing ability, everything else is spot on. At the moment, Hutton is a bombscare in defence. The sooner everyone realises that the better. I'm gutted he's out as he has only just come back from a long-term injury and this will put a complete dent to his confidence, especially as Corluka will consolidate the right back position with Gunter challenging him. Just hope Harry doesn't panic buy a right back in the transfer window or Hutton's days at Tottenham could be numbered

Hutton is average people. He isn't the messiah, he's a very average full back. There's a dozen full backs in England who are far superior.

If anybody can tell me anything that he's done of any note in a Scotland shirt (apart from a couple of decent runs against Italy) then please feel free. Kirk Broadfoot has made more of an impact at international level

Hutton really does disprove the theory that you need more than pace to play at the top level.

He doesn't really need to as they've already got Corluka who's easily a better player than Hutton and alsp Chris Gunter who's a fantastic young player.
