C'mon Simplistic, stills seldom prove anything and that one certainly doesn't.

I know for a fact that Spartans, as EoS royalty, do get all the big decisions at Sinatra Park - Sammy tells me every time the tax dodgers come visiting.

Aren't you allowed to header it outside the box rolleyes.gif
Stockholm Syndrome
It was a definate handball, and it was definately outside the box!

The lineswoman ohmy.gif rolleyes.gif took a lot of abuse after that, and no wonder...

From a conversation as the teams were lining up for the second half I think Mathilde (is that her name?) knows that. The penalty decision against Cloudie was never a pen but that doesn't excuse the last 15 mins - these decisions happen at all levels. Sounds like there was a similar incident with Borat a bit earlier on Saturday and on Sunday our pal Mr Scott sent off one of our youths for what he deemed to be an over the top challenge which our guys didn't see as a sending off.

If we end up losing the league I won't be blaming Mathilde or the ref for decisions before we are even halfway through our fixtures - but see if Mr Scott gives the tax dodgers a dodgy pen late in the season for a non foul outside the box I'll be a bit miffed.

What have Sellick fans to do with Spartans getting dodgy decisions ? wink.gif

maybe that pic doesn't prove it but having seen the footage its so clear - its nothing short of disgusting to miss.

Would have been a different result!

Anyway on another note...Donal Henretty, goal of the season?

Not disgusting - that's other things that have made the news in the last couple of days that are truly too disgusting to mention again and certainly not on this forum.

A mistake was made, well 2 when you also count the one being the decision against Cloudie. We've lost one game in the league and we're not yet half way through our fixtures. We can have no excuse for losing that game given how we had played in the first half.

As for Donal's goal, at risk of a smack in the puss on Friday night, no I don't think so. Contender yes but for me Gavin's goal at Annan with all the implications of that and the pressure was a better one.

However, Donal would always be the first name on my team sheet. I don't think you were back in God's country Simplistic when we played the semi in the League Cup against the Uni. "Inspired" sub when Struan came on with something like 5 mins to go and scored 2 to take us through, helped by a very uncharacteristic Scott Bennett flap and poor clearance but for me in that game the turning point came when Donal came on. I think it may have been with about 20/25 mins to go but there was immediately more urgency, more commitment, more dig.

We'll not be on here on Sunday crying over split milk.

What are the new scarves like?

Cloudy moaning about a dodgy penalty? That's like Mike Tyson moaning about someone biting his ear..
oh, and Mathilde gifted Spartans a goal against City in a Quali Cup tie so what goes around comes around!
I still fancy the Ferry Road Fantastics to beat Elgin though- good luck chaps!

Tam, you sh*g one sheep? Cloudie put his hand up to a dive when at Strollers but he said it was so bad he was too embarrassed to do it again.

I've no issues at all with Mathilde, you're dead right on the decisions front.
