Anyone think there is value in everton tonight in the 2.8 avaliable at befair?
They have won their last 3 games on the road and if they win are within 3 points of villa in 5th place which david moyes has said is his goal for the season.
I can see it being a low scoring game but i fancy everton to come out on top.

Sainté have no first choice defenders and, having won twice in the group stages already, are likely to play a severely weakened squad in this fixture to preserve their top guys for their relegation battle in Ligue 1.

They have played weakened sides in the previous 2 games and won both so they are practically through thus I wouldn't expect any different this time. Speaking of wekaened sides Valencia put a poor side out against Copenhagen and travel to Rosenborg where they were soundly beaten in last years Champions League, I believe the Norwegians are around 4/1.

I would lay 11/10 all day long, and the fact that virtually every bookmaker would lay 11/10 or higher should tell you something. Boylesports go 11/8, which may not last.

No team with Yoann Gourcuff in it can be described as 'very very ordinary'. He (and Bordeaux) had a bad night at Stamford Bridge and will not make it so easy for Chelsea this time around. I'd still fancy Chelsea to win but 4/5 best price is a wee bit short imo.

On the last day of Serie A there are always fixed matches, it's a tradition that if you have nothing to play for and your opponent does, you lose the game, or if a draw suits both teams then that's the outcome. I remember in May 2007 Reggina were 1/3 at home to AC Milan, that would never ever ever happen normally. Reggina won 2-0.

Layed just over £300 on a 1-1 draw in the Wigan-Everton game - liability was over £2,000. I don't want to experience the feeling I had as I watched the ball fall to Cahill 15 yards from goal in the 92nd minute again.
The range of odds on Aalborg to win tomorrow is remarkable, from 21/10 (Bet365 & Victor Chandler) to 13/8 (Hills). Swithering between staking £100 on Aalborg or laying Celtic.

The last couple of weeks have been very hit and miss, with me hitting the two winners from four selections on a couple of occasions recently but not being good enough to get the three or even four winners needed to really turn a profit from the bet. However, I am sure there is a big lift coming soon enough if I keep selecting the picks in the same way as I have been doing recently, and even though there is a card of Champions League games on over the next two nights I have completely avoided them as too many games will be ending up in results that suit each team for qualification and therefore will be best left alone. Although no doubt bookmakers in Glasgow will still see action with punters splashing their money on Celtic away at Aalborg, even though Celtic have such an awful record away from Parkhead in Champions league campaigns of late. What is it they say about a fool and his money being easily parted?…I would rather just watch the team I have backed outright to win the tournament( Villareal) qualifying for the last sixteen in first place in that group at the expense of Manchester United in El Madrigal as Fergie looks to keep certain players wrapped up in cotton wool for Sunday’s Manchester derby at Eastlands.
If nothing appeals in the great friendly tournament this week, then what does?. For the Best Bet I have to delve into the Championship and back PLYMOUTH ARGYLE to win away at Southampton at a very juicy 17/10. There will be punters looking to back the home side given that they won away at Reading at the weekend, but that win was away from the empty seated St. Mary’s stadium and there surely is no coincidence that they have won four of their five victories this season on their travels. The biggest problem teams have when coming down to the Championship, having built big capacity grounds whilst in the holy grail of the Premiership, is that as crowds drop off after relegation the home “advantage” lessens as clubs come and play them without having a fearsome home crowd to overcome due to that lack of numbers turning out. With that being the case, and with Argyle in fine form at present( two wins and a draw in their last three games and two wins from their last three road trips, both by a 1-0 score line) including the resurgence of Emile Mpenza as a scoring threat having finally getting himself recovered from the injury he had when joining the club in the summer, I can see the wily older more experienced forwards of the visitors causing too many problems for the youthful, yet skilful, back four of the Saints and the price is a touch of value to these eyes.
For the next best bet I have to head as far north as there are games this midweek and take Ross County to send Ian McCall back home with a defeat to contemplate as his Partick Thistle side revert back to type and lose again on their travels. And to think we can get 13/10 about a County win as well. I was expecting a shade of odds on, particularly given that the Thistle back four is injury riddled at present with Mark Twaddle, Alan Archibald and John Robertson all definitely missing according to their Official site, and doubts over striker Damon Gray and top scorer Stephen McKeown also. But even without those injuries I wouldn’t want to touch them with the proverbial counterfeit money. I am sure people will look at the fact they are third in the league and on a run of three wins in a row and say that there could be a case for them but delve deeper. They may well have three wins in a row, but they have all come at home, against a Queen of the South side who were about to start a four game losing streak, Clyde who quite frankly are no great shakes, and a Livingston side that had it’s own off field problems to contend with in the build up to the game. So, whilst it is possible to make a case for them, they haven’t exactly posted a result that makes me sit up and take notice and we should also add in the fact that they have won one game on their travels so far this season, and that was back on the 8th of September with their away record since then of LDLLL and two goals in those five games. Hardly the type of side you want to be backing when they will have had to start their journey early in the morning to get to Inverness in time to have lunch and pre-match rest, is it?
County bounced back to form on Saturday avenging the Challenge Cup penalty shoot out defeat to Airdrie by beating them 2-0. They have won three of their last four games at Victoria Park, with the only blemish coming against Queen of the South ironically the week prior to Thistle beating them and starting their four game losing streak!. Given the documented injury worries that the visitors have I have to make ROSS COUNTY a strong bet here and almost made them the Best Bet, but Plymouth just made that accolade on a toss of a coin.
For the third of the four selections on Tuesday night, I take a little bit of a flyer in League Two. but the 5/2 on offer about a BARNET victory away at Port Vale is way too big in my opinion, and in fact I would have made the Bees slight favourites in this one, perhaps 11/8 against 6/4 Vale and not 5/2 and 5/6 about the Home side.
How anyone can possibly contemplate backing a side who have let in eighteen goals in their eight games on home soil so far this season, at odds on, is beyond belief. Won two, lost six is Vale’s home record and only one clean sheet in all league games this season does not inspire confidence against a Bees side who were by all counts very unlucky to lose two late goals against Macclesfield last weekend, and for whatever reason just cannot seem to get points at Underhill, yet they can go to Shrewsbury and Bradford and come away with draws, as well as winning away at Rotherham who at the time were on a cracking run of form themselves. Barnet have also held Wycombe to a draw at home this season, with the arrival of Irish striker John O’ Flynn seeming to be the main reason for their influx of goals with four goals in seven league starts since joining at the beginning of September from Cork City. With the home side incapable of keeping clean sheets, and with an awful home record, the value has to be on the away side notching all three points by outscoring their hosts.
If their was a market for it, then backing the over 2.5 goals looks an almost certainty given that 11 of the home sides games have been over and Barnet have been involved in ten games over two and a half goals as well this season, but no firm bets on that sort of thing in such a lowly league game.
The last one is another away team in League one, and given that Hartlepool come into the game on the back of three straight defeats and come up against a BRISTOL ROVERS side who’s only two defeats in their last ten games came at the hands of the league leaders Leicester(were winning 1-0 with six minutes to go) and Scunthorpe(who were winning league up until the showdown this weekend) then the 11/5 available on Paul Trollope’s side heading back down the road with all three points catches my eye. They have only failed to score once this season, and are up against a MonkeyHangers side that have kept two clean sheets in seventeen league games so defensive strength is not one of their specialities. Ricky Lambert is always a threat to most defences in this league and I can see him scoring again here to lead his side to victory and jump above their hosts in the table in the process.
Usual bet, which is of course a £1 Lucky 15 and £5 accumulator (£20 Staked) on the following:
