Airdrie United - Cardle/DiGiacomo
Clyde - Gemmill
Dundee - pass. I missed the cup game, and there were no good performances on show from either side in the Firhill game.
Dunfermline - Kirk/Harper
Livingston - Davidson/Elliot's 1st performance, which was the best I've seen this year.
Morton - Shimmin
Queen of the South - Dobbie
Ross County - Hart
St Johnstone - Holmes
Perhaps not the players I'd choose to sign from each team, but they've been the best performers.

Based on performances against Saints, some over one game, some over two and having had three looks at Livingston.
Dunfermline Athletic: Callum Woods over the two games but Harper was excellent in the second one whilst Gallacher, McCann, Phinn, Kirk and Bayne in particular were all impressive in Perth.
Partick Thistle: Paul Paton was about the only one to emerge with any credit from their defeat in Perth whilst Storey and Harkins were superb at Firhill. Storey was pretty woeful at McDiarmid though. Really like Gary Harkins though and he strikes me as a guy who has a lot more to offer.
Livingston: McPake is excellent every time I see him and Griffiths has been lively in both of his matches against us. Like Murray Davidson and Dave Mackay as well.
Queen of the South: Only played them once and the best performers were MacFarlane, Harris and Kean. Plenty of players I rate at Palmerston though.
Ross County: Richie Hart is a class act and would start for any side in this division IMO.
Dundee: Another side we've only faced once and Rhian Dodds was their only decent player at McDiarmid.
Morton: They drew with us at Cappielow but I wasn't particularly taken with any of their players.
Clyde: Billy Gibson over the two games. Higgins has been a solid defender at this level for a few years too and Clarke is a good finisher.
Airdrie United: Played them only once as well and MacDougall did well I thought.
Dunfermline - Harper
Dundee - Nobody this year
Airdrie - Cardle
Morton - Shimmin
Clyde - McKay
QotS - Harris
County - Craig
St. Johnstone - Milne
Livingston - Elliot 1st time, was dire on Saturday
Thats just based on this year alone though.

Airdrie United - McLaughlin. I'm sure he'll return to his true rubbish self once he's settled in at Airdrie.
Clyde - ...
Dundee - ...
Dunfermline - Gallacher had a good game at Cappielow, they've been poor both times we've played them and I wouldn't give a single outfield player pass marks from either game.
Livingston - Davidson/Griffiths - the respective standouts in our games with them.
Partick - Maxwell
Queen of the South - Weatherston
Ross County - Hart
St Johnstone - Millar.

Airdrie United - Impossible to say based on the game this season.
Dundee - Douglas.
Dunfermline - Phinn.
Livingston - Eliot.
Morton - Greacen.
Partick - McKeown
Queen of the South - No-one from Saturday, Sives and Harris were both excellent at Broadwood.
Ross County - Brittain.
St Johnstone - Millar.

Airdrie - Cardle
Clyde - Clarke
Dundee - only saw the 0-0 game so nobody
Dunfermline - Bayne
Livi - Mackay
Morton - Shimmin
Queens - Tosh
RC - Craig
St Johnstone - only saw the 4-0 game so again nobody.
Partick - Simon Donnelly. Played well in the first game, and they were all dreadful in the second one.
QOS - Stewart Kean - I was surprised, but he was very good in both games at EEP in August.
St Johnstone - awful once and a good team performance once, not many standouts in either. Probably Liam Craig if I have to pick one, just for a peach of a goal.
Dundee - Paul McHale. Not noticable at EEP, but in the game at Dens he was tremendous.
Morton - Another tough one, probably Brian Wake. He wasn't great on Saturday, but I was very impressed with him in the game at Cappielow.
Clyde - Scott Gemmill. They didn't play very well that day, but most of their good stuff came down his side.
County - no standouts at all.
Livingston - Rocco Quinn. Not their best player in either game, but two solid games against us.
Airdrie - Nixon - pretty solid, especially the last game.

Kean was one of, if not the best player in a QoS top on Saturday, can't think of anyone better. Mac was good in the first but wasn't up to scratch in the second. Kean was doing well in the first half but yet again he got played out of position but still put in a decent shift. He actually did more out wide than what O'Connor did up front.

You have a point, but given that the thread is about players who
impressed I can`t see that any Queens player was impressive on Saturday. As I said Kean did OK at Broadwood but nobody impressed on Saturday. I wasn`t for an instant bemoaning his effort and that certainly puts him ahead of a few on Saturday. That being said I thought the whole team was poor hence my response to our Clyde friend above.

Airdrie United - Yet to see them.
Clyde - None.
Dundee - Eric Paton, cracking finish against us, highly rated.
Dunfermline - Steven Glass, not the biggest stand out you'll come across but a very decent midfielder at this level.
Livingston - Murray Davidson, generally looked a very decent player, smashing goal against us too.
Partick - Ian Maxwell, composed and pops up with a few goals.
Queen of the South - David Weatherston, some pace and quite troubling.
Ross County - Yet to see them.
St Johnstone - Chris Millar, very highly rated both for us ans Saints.

This thread is a good read, but to be honest I never remember who's who in the opposition team. I'll often come away thinking "their number 7 looks a good player" or whatever, but I can rarely remember who it was!
Having said that, the ones I have been able to put names to have been McPake at Livi, Hart at Ross County and Kirk at Dunfermline. They've all stood out from what I've seen, as well as a few others that I couldn't name.

Ah, I see. In that case fair point.
Airdrie Utd - No stands outs versus us.
Clyde - Clarke for his performance at Broadwood a couple of Sats back.
Dundee - Were truely awful versus us so again nobody, poss review after Sat.
Dunfermline - Kirk, shud get well into double figs this season at this level.
Livingston - McPake and McKay bout equal
Morton - No stand outs in 2-2 draw at cappielow
Partick - Harkins in big defeat at Firhill
Queen of South - Macfarlane

Airdrie United - Have to say nobody truly stood out in a comprehensive team performance.
Clyde - Don't be silly.
Dundee - Paton. Scored the undeserved winner at Dens and appears a solid option.
Dunfermline - Gallacher. They've been dross home and away though.
Livingston - Griffiths for taking advantage of sheer incompetence.
Partick - Nobody stood out tbh.

Dunfermline - Not saw them this season.
Livingston - Leigh Griffiths, potentially one of the biggest prospects at this level in years.
Partick - Ian Maxwell.
Queen of the South - David Weatherston.
Ross County - Richie Hart, changed the game completely when he came on in the league game up in dingwall.

I couldn't make the game on Saturday so I only have the game earlier in the season to take into account. Although he never scored, I felt Kean was one of your better players that day. TBH, it was more of a team effort and none of your players really stood out, but Kean looked pretty dangerous whenever he had the ball and running at our defence.
