why

3 of his players were sent off on saturday. His own hot temper must rub off on the team therefore produces a lack of discipline on the park that costs them games.(committees soon get pissed off.

Really fussy refereeing and backchat saw three men sent off for nothing physical. The Rose player walked for the same as two of ours.

S Allan is a muppet of a ref who always craves attention, not the first game he's ruined this. or last season.

Maybe Sinclair should walk purely for the reason he's been unable to put together a good enough team this season.
The Gudderman
Has that been two games on the trot that the boy Caine has been sent off in? How many games in total has he played in too?

Two on the trot, that's right, but the Haws game was for two yellows, the Rose game a straight red probably due to frustration.

He's only recently found a starting berth and looks a decent player but he obviously has a discipline problem (no shit Sherlock smile.gif )

what a stupid comment. was at the game on sat and the ref totally spoiled the game. he is clearly reffing to gain attention even his linesman was shocked at some of his actions.

boness play some good stuff and even with 9 men they totally outplayed the opposition.

IMO the fans are being far too critical of the team. when the team play it long they want short passing moves, when that happens they demands it played long, they will never be happy. considering injuries etc they are doing pretty well and with maybe one or two coming and goings they will improve.

reckon they are playing a better standard of football than most 3rd division teams not that that says a great deal but still

give the guy a break! dry.gif

On the whole sats performance was our best in over a month. If we'd managed to finish with 11 men it would have been a really good match.

What the club really lack is a goalscorer, someone who can regularly be relied on to deliver.
At the moment we only have 3 to choose from. Scott Brown can be the best on his day but those aren't often enough.
Ross Muir is a kid, age-wise but built like Hartson and could do with losing quite a few pounds to make himself more effective.
Colin Allison, after a bright start, has been largely disappointing. While he does try to drag defenders about and can be elusive, he is too easily knocked off the ball and with the refs at this level he gets next to nothing.

Of course, strikers can do nowt without service but that's another story...

fair enough if there is only 3 strikers but i dont except your point at the end about the service. id have to say bo'ness are one of the best footballing teams i have seen and are always looking for an attacking option. also did bo'ness not win the league last season and are doing relatively well in the league and have done pretty good in the cups having had some tricky ties to contend with.

i pose the question what do the BU fans want to see change/happen if the club is going forward?

Maybe I'm not the best person to answer as I only started going to Junior games last season.
However, every time I saw Bo'ness last season, I asked myself 'how are they top?'

Yes, some of their play was very attractive but in the most part they were very poor, always having to come from behind.

I can weigh their performances against those of Musselburgh, who I also saw a fair bit of last season. Musselburgh were far more exciting to watch & their defeats of Bathgate & Linlithgow towards the end of the season were fully merited.

The way forward? Hard to say, but even after a good start results-wise, most fans realise they are facing a relegation struggle.
