Has any other major country got such a dearth of pish Managers as England?
There will no doubt be another daft Championship club along to waste their money on this nomark, and Charlton will probably take on Roeder, Holloway, Dowie (again), Reid, Robson (Bryan) or the egomaniac that is O'Bleary

This sacking has been on the cards for a few weeks now but, as you say, he'll land on his feet at some other unfortunate club. Have Swindon got a new gaffer yet?
He wasn't sacked, he was mutually consented

i cannot believe how poor english managers are down south, look at the top 5 in England, Chelsea (Brazilian Manager), Liverpool (Spanish), Man Utd (Scottish), Aston Villa (Northern Irish), Arsenal (French), and considering the manager at 6th is english, that is Hull, and they're bubble will burst.
If it is true to ay English Premier is the best league in the world, must be something to do with the world class foreign players and managers

Surely Pardew's coat is on the proverbial shakey peg at Charlton too? 3rd bottom?
Took it's time coming, but no wonder they sacked him.

Well given that no English Manager has ever won their own Premier League, you can count the number of English players who have played at the top level abroad on one hand and that their National side has consistently underachieved I'd love to hear their argument
