Looking forward to the trip on Saturday, always a good day and night out in Elgin!

Im hoping that Roddy Hunter gets a shot up front with Smith as I think he definetly deserves a chance under the new manager and style of play. Hannah seemed delighted with the subs input on Saturday so we may see Hegarty/Roddy or Tiny on from the start.

Im hoping for a comfortable win and I'd like to see us get in amongst the goals for once this season. I'd like to see the following line up or something similar

gk - peat
lb - craig
rb - worrell
cb - jb
cb - murdo
lw - bradley
cm - scooooobs
cm - gibby
rw - hegarty
st - smith
st - hunter

* smith just sitting in behind roddy as a facilitating/playmaking type striker

I'm going to go for a 3 - 1 victory for Montrose (mainly because its a shaky one on my acca). Im slightly worried about elgin as they seem to have been good in recent weeks (apart from sat) and may have more of a backbone compared to last time.

Anyone else heading up from the Mo? (assuming there is no bus as I haven't heard anything)

I'm going and hoping for a win and not one of those nervy last minute wins!

Anson should have a spell on the bench, he's not really produced the goods lately. So yeah, Hunter to start up front with Smith. But knowing Hannah we'll end up with something like JB up front and Bradley the sitting midfielder!

Think you could be a bit disappointed on Saturday as Elgin create the shock of the day with a 4-1 win. smile.gif

Another defeat sad.gif

From the text updates I was getting, sounds like we missed two sitters in the last 5 minutes and deserved a point. We really need to take something off Annan next week ahead of the cup game for a bit of a confidence boost, or Spartans will be looking good for another upset.

Who are you supporting next? Twat.

Good result, it's great to see the team winning even when we aren't performing great. Scoobs and Gibby in the middle were class and Hunter did what Hunter does...2 chances, 2 goals. biggrin.gif

Two good goals from Roddy sealed the deal.

Disgraceful attitudes from the Elgin youth. Lads as young as 12 spouting off and throwing sweets. And to think that everyone believes Montrose are the ones with the rowdy support.

Too much inbreeding if you ask me.

laugh.gif I'm surprised that they weren't younger than 12! Are you telling me that you don't have any 12 year old neds in Montrose? laugh.gif Aye right.

Anyway, why weren't you at Ibrox on Saturday?
