http://nonleaguescotland.co.uk for ground pictures of virtually every non-league ground in the country, Coupar Angus included.

They're mid-table in the one of the East Region's bottom divisions, and in all comps so far this season they've played 15, won 6, drawn 4, lost 5.

Squad-wise, Lubo Moravcik's son plays for them.

Meadowbank buses going to Forfar or Brechin used to stop off in Coupar Angus. At that time the Victoria Inn, just off the main square, seemed to be the unofficial Juniors social club, and it doesn't seem likely they've built their own club since then.

There were some other nice pubs - more than you'd expect for a smallish town. It's more than 15 years since I've been there. I hope the place hasn't deteriorated.

Fine result for the Ants at Irvine. Keep it up guys.

A few of the pubs in Coupar have shut down but the Vic is still open.

The pub nearest the park is the Nortel. There's a Bowling club between the Nortel and the park, but i don't know if they let visitors in.

Yeah, the pub is Nortel, Red House serves good grub, seriously setting foot in any other boozer other than Nortel is like a step back in time . Remember it is agricultural area along with Grampian chicken factory.
The park has seen its best days but i doubt you will play on a better surface this season, Gav the groundsman takes pride in the surface.
Should be a good game as Coupar are on the up, any team from the West will probably start favourites but bookies may favour the draw.
Have a good day out anyway, how many will travel?

Cheers mate . Sadly no more than a coach - if that .
Sometimes we just jump in the with the players - biggrin.gif
Took a coach full to Bonnyrigg last year though [And , sensationally , came back from 0-2 to draw 2- 2 ]

You may well outnumber the home support then, when Lithgae were there, only about 30 of us ex-players and locals laugh.gif
