Stevo Fife
After Saturdays feeble performance i can see our unbeaten away record coming to an end at Glebe Park.
However, in saying that, one has to remain optimistic.
And so without further ado......

Stevo prediction

Brechin 1-1 East Fife

2 - 0.

A draw methinks.

Brechin will be far too quick for East Fife who looked incredibly unfit and uninterested on Saturday.

3-0 Brechin

i'm sure the team will be right up for it after the weekend!

I'm going for 1-0 with Fozzy scoring from a free kick

I don't like making specific predictions...

...but I'm going for a 3-1 home win, Twigg with another brace, one being headed from a Paton cross in the 17th minute, the other will be neatly tucked under Brown after some superb link up play by Nimmo and Janczyck and a through ball from the latter on the 54th minute. East Fife will respond with a scrappy effort bouncing in off Chris Templeman's right knee on the 86th minute. We'll secure the points three minutes later when Ward leaps like the proverbial salmon on the edge of the six yard box to head in a Janczyck corner. Baird will also hit the post in the 46th minute. I predict I shall also have a pie upon entering the ground at 2.53 and then another at 3.58, having queued for 11 minutes and 14 seconds. My wife will pick me up at around 5.25pm and I shall be tucking in to, mmm, Domino's Pizza at around 6.30. She'll also whinge at me precisely 31 seconds after I get into the car for not putting up the new curtains in the living room yet.

Only Baird was booked according to the City website.

As does BBC.

Hah, my non-specific prediction still stands cool.gif

I'm positive it was Nimmo that was booked, although the press seem to have it down as Baird. We'll soon see on Saturday.

don't think baird was anywhere near the ref when the card was shown so its unlikely it was him. nimmo reacted to a decision and the ref was quick to pull out the card so i'm pretty certain it was nimmo. how do the bbc find out who gets booked in these games anyways?

Looking at their reports every week, they make a wild guess.

All records come to an end, reckon our away record is goosed this weekend.

Based on the derby game finishing, id be happy if we put the ball in the net.

Your problem on Saturday was that you didn't put a banging donk on it.

Even if he was booked, the suspension won't kick in until next weekend. The list of suspensions etc. is released late on Thursdays.
StevoJay!
we have a good record up at good old glebe park, so im looking at maybe a 1-1 ,1-0 victory to the fife! biggrin.gif

Edit to add, biggrin.gif
Mon_The_Fife
I predict Baikie's formation of 7-2-1 will work well and we will hit Brechin on the counter-attack.

Tweedy and Smart are both out and we will miss them. I would think McDonald and Fozzy (please not Temps) will fill in as centre halfs.

This is the start of 3 big games for us that will pretty much decide our season. Never saw us lose at Brechin (played 1, won 1) so here's hoping the 100% record stays intact. We have a great away record to defend, and defend we shall.

What's up with Tweed? He'd be a big miss for a game up in Brechin, particularly since Smart is already missing. With Stanic and Nugent out, that's EF missing their whole defence huh.gif

I think it's his hamstring. He might be out for a wee while. We are more or less missing our entire defence now! Smart is close to coming back so fingers crossed.

Toro is back though and that is a major boost. Although one Fife fan is sweating coz he will have to eat his trainers if McDonald gets 15 or more appearances for the club this season. 8 full appearances in the bag and quite a few games to go!

Nice to see a fair number of Raith fans backing East Fife tommorrow how times have changed laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Should be a tight game again a 1-0 win would do us !!!!!
Gordon EF
Should be a very tough game but I'm fairly confident we can take something. We're going to have problems with the defence again seeing as we have a whole defence missing but we've got Fagan back and if we can get players playing in their right positions, to their strengths and keep the ball on the ground and have a go at Brechin, I'm sure we'd win......

...I can dream can't I. rolleyes.gif
