Scotland's Shame FC reserves today confirmed that a supporter has come forward and identified himself as being responsible for verbally abusing Celtic Football Club manager Gordon Strachan after Scotland's Shame FC reserves weekend defeat to Celtic at Tynecastle.
The supporter has offered an unreserved apology to Scotland's Shame FC reserves for his unacceptable conduct and has informed the club that he will also be writing to Mr Strachan to convey apologies directly to the Celtic manager.
The club accepts that the supporter has admitted responsibility and that he realises that his actions were completely inappropriate. However, due to the clear breach of the club's Supporters' Charter (Unacceptable conduct - Disrepute offence), he will be subject to a 12 match ban from Scotland's Shame FC reserves games with immediate effect.
