Quite a good draw ? Not for us it isn't.
Especially when we don't get to play on the same day as everyone else due to Lochee playing Ayr.
We should have pumped them the last time we drew them, but by all accounts they are a much better side now.
Would be a shock if we get through this round.

They are always a hard-working team - we play them every season in a opening League Cup. They're unlikely to finish top half of their division but they seem to be able to keep it relatively tight at the back - no clean sheets though in 12 games they've only let in more than one goal 4 times.

they have a top class manager, david martin, ex lochee utd boss, he took lochee to the scottish semi final a few years ago.

Not the best of sides but are always capable of an upset especially if they have a lead to defend. We play them on Saturday in the West, Ill give a mroe up todate report after that.

by the way he never flogged a goal, he got sent off early for lashing out at a camelon player, lochee ended up getting beat 2-1.

Was at the last tie that KRR played against Stoneyburn and they looked very good going forward but ropey at the back. In all truth both defences had shockers that day but KRR certainly have areas to exploit.

We have had a bit of an upturn in fortunes the last weeks. won a cup, knocked the runners up out the scottish and were unfortunate not to take 3 points on saturday (although beith did miss a late pen). If the boys play to their best then we have a chance although Lochee will be odds on.

You make your own luck I suppose and the Lie do appear to be bouncing back after a pretty bad start. Anyway, at least you doubled your points total on saturday
If you do win through, and we do likewise, hopefully we can avoid each other all the way to the final.

Agree Jamie, it was nice to step away from the bottom of the league.
It would be great to get through to the next round but it's going to be tough, for both of us (last twice I have seen Kilbirnie they have been impressive)
We might only play 1 game before the next round as due to Glenafton going to a replay we will not be playing this weekend by the look of it and we will have to play on the 6th or 13th december due to the Lochee v Ayr cup tie (and possible replay).

It certainly feels like it! Hannah Park is wide open and oval shaped so spectators feel a long way back from the pitch anyway. Bellshill have a big surface, 115x75 yds I believe, not sure if Hannah Park is bigger or not.

Well we used to have the largest the the exception of Hampden. But that was a while back ( late 90s?) and it's been taken in at least twice since then. It's narrower now.
But when your main route of attack is the long throw to the near post so dunky sinclair ( or similar) can flick it on to whoever, playing on air strip isn't too productive.
Also none of Rab Sneddon's signings were under 30 so he had it taken in too. And that's no joke.
Looking forward to Maud though.
