If you've heard of them I'd wager you also know the music of Whirling Pig Dervish.

Surprised no one has mentioned the Monkeys.

Dog Faced Hermans were a bit of a Peel favourite in the mid to late 80's so I did hear them on a fairly regular basis although I never personally owned any of their stuff, except perhaps stuff taped off the shows Whirling Pig Dervish, I know the name but can't remember having heard any of their music. Sorry!!! but I will have a look around.

WPD and DFH were mates and used to gig together a lot along with The Stretchheads, they're stuff is hard to track down now, as far as I know they only released stuff on vinyl and cassette. They were good though.
