I think it’s time he was given his chance and I was surprised and disappointed that he wasn’t involved against Killie last week. He has been knocking ‘em in for the reserves – 2 yesterday, 3 last week – and certainly looks promising from what I have seen. Of course he is still only 20 and had picked up a few niggling injuries but I would hope he is at least on the bench on Saturday.

I forgot about Hutchinson. Apparently Gareth Southgate considered him to be a viable option for the Middlesbrough first team, it's quite ironic that he moved to Celtic in order to get more "top-level" experience and now finds himself less likely to play (in a poorer quality league) for the first team than he would have been had he stayed at Middlesbrough.

He looks two stone overweight when playing for the reserves.

I'd give him a chance.

why buy a striker, then when you a struggling for players in that position, you still dont play him.... if you give him a chance and he is garbage, atleast you've given him a chance, he cant do anythin if he's not on the park..
i'm looking forward to see how he gets on...

Think the only reason he doesn't get a game is because he is in the same mould as McDonald. Sheridan is in before him due to height we're lacking with Sami and JVOH both being out.

Yes but you would have thought it would a good idea to play him in the diddy cup last week or at the very least, have him on the bench to come on.

Been very impressed whenever I've seen him, againsyt the dons a few weeks ago he won everything punted upfield, and had a bit of pace and skill too...certainly worth a look at the first team IMO, let see what he can do

He could have been played against Killie.

Another bizarre signing given his pedigree (Fleetwood Town, Arnold Town, Billingham Synthonia).

I wonder if it is actually Chesney signing all these players that he then ignores?

Ignores?

Not followed his time at Celtic, but did he not play against the European Champions last night?

By and large he has ignored him then he throws him in at the deep end. It’s just bizarre.
