I didn't mean priceless in a funny way, just that you don't see it happen too
often, we feel for the Brazilian, he got shafted twice, with the IOC not even
considering to give him a least a gold, no doubt he would have won the race.
All that defrocked priest got was a small fine for that stunt,Greek justice.
The guy who did that was a first class knob. I can't believe he got away with doing it. Surely they can award the Brazilian boy a gold as well out of fair play?

He was being caught but not as fast as he was after the incident. SHowed great mental strength to hold on to bronze. I haven't seen it but i understand the tattie mucher smashed him into the barriers!! How much time did he lose before he got going again?

They say he lost about 11 seconds, though it looked a wee bit more. But once he got started again he looked dazed & confused and who can blame him it was terrible. It just to bad one of the cars at silverstone didn't get him and say this
brazilian runner a lot of grief.
think we could open a thread about which is more crooked, fifa or the ioc! its a joke, but then again much of the olympics was (all the opinionated sports were amnazingly won by greek athletes )
