Good stuff if you can make work and keep upto date. May be you should be in touch with South of scotland league and see what help they can give you? For example club contacts and fixtures. May be they would have people to help out. Similar been happen with East league official site and all to good in my own view.
Will be good if can have fixtures results and details online. At moments only info is tables and reports on solway press web site. While that is good is not reliable and must be hard for fan to look ahead for games.
There is only one H in Crichton:
Missing managers:
Creetown - Robert "Bobo" Tweedie
Dalbeattie Star - Rab Cameron is in charge of the souths
Fleet Star - Gary Neil (Gatehouse is one word BTW)
Mid Annandale - Ally Sloan player/manager
Nithsdale Wanderers - Sam McFarlane (I think)
Threave - Dave McVitie
Hope that's of some use

Although I don't encourage you to run anything major without permission/support of SOSFL, there are a few useful websites that can provide you with facts-&-figures, if you intend to provide information:

Can an individual do this without SoS Members authority...Would it not be best to have authority and make the site an Official one and therefore open to scrutiny?

Would imagine it isn't a problem - it's an unofficial site.

Had a look at site...well done...but results from yesterday missing...only Saints....can I ask is this a commercial site?....cos as I said initially an official site, which it is pointed out this is not, ... with advertising could benefit all the Clubs financially.

results are up now, was away in glasgow last night and the report hadnt been made up by the time i left, just got back and updated it. As i said before its just a site that ive put together in a bit o spare time. Wouldnt really know all the rules that go along with a commercial site. if after a while someone would like to take it on and turn it into a commercial site that would benefit the clubs that would be great. for now though im just gonna try to get it upto date and looking as best a possible to give people somewhere to see whats been going on.

In terms of sponsorship/adverts on the site, I'd imagine it would be a couple of weeks before you could go to businesses armed with how many hits the site gets every day etc...
In terms of sponsorship of the League, I'd imagine this would need to be discussed at a meeting of the South League, as would making this site an official one.
Certainly the South League having a site is a positive step forward and raises its profile considerably.

you are bang on...for too long south football has not been given the profile it deserves...too many folk running it down...good luck and we should use this as a way of going forward to attract as good as players as possible to our league .....we all want to be in position where we can beat or be as good as anyway, as highland and east teams who think they are a cut abive us!!!!
