Anyone have this game? If so what do you think of it?

I've got it, its, let me put it this way, its not GTA 4. Maybe a creaky version of the original GTA3 (mixed with the gang element of san andreas) from about 8 years ago. They tried their best but i wish i'd waited and bought it a couple of months later when cheaper second hand.

My pal said it was 'absolutely shit hot' but i take everything from him with a pinch of salt.

1st one was pish.

Shite. Not a patch on gta 4. Too 'cartooney' for me.

I liked the first one, but the problem is that it's always going to be compared to GTA, and it's never going to be as good.

I think it's great, but agree that it's no GTA.

The problem with Saints Row is that too many people played it whilst comparing it to GTA4 (or what they imagined GTA4 to be like given it wasn't out at the time). On its own merits it's a great game.

I've been playing SR2 a lot today and it's absolutely fantastic! Brilliant fun!



PS If you only play for achievements then this is not for you.

Good, GTA4 was massively disappointing.

Saints Row 2 is supposed to be great fun. I am thinking of buying it.

Completely agree. Might give this Saints Row 2 thing a whirl if I can pick it up for 18-bar.

I agree to an extent about GTAIV, I've not played it in months, and it never got anywhere near the same gametime from me as the others in the series did.

Bought it for 40£ and traded it back in for 20£ , shit IMO like a hardcore simpsons hit and run
