Peebles and Selkirk.
Easthouses had a bad start but have shown improvement. Draw with whitehill, won away to Selkirk.

They still have plenty of time and games to claw it back. It's maybe a bit of a long shot but I certainly think Vale have the quality to do it. The two promotion winning sides will finish on a comparatively low points tally, because of the overall quality of the league.

vale will never play in the premier league for another three seasons at least, too much politics and infighting, good individual players but defo not a team

im just not sure what you are basing it on. Apart from a game where they played a suspended player they have done nothing this year!
I will be surprised to even see them in the top 5

Early season as yet. From the teams I have watched, was quite impressed with Gala.

the uni league team differs a wee bit from the east team, iwould also say that the player pool is getting stronger all the time.the training once a day in the excellent facilities are also a big plus.the next three weeks ,weather permitting, tynie ,gretna and threave, will give a bigindication as to how the season will pan out.

I think many peoples over rate Stirling uni. What have they done in league so far. Thrashed the poorest team in the division at home but will be fined 3 point for inlegible player; and scrape 2-1 over Kelso. I think stirling will be sad at season end that cup runs stopped them putting early runs together. Costing them promotion. They are already 12 point behind gala. Will fall further behind this month I guess.

eastisbest ,you are some slaver,in your previous posts you were going on about how good the uni team were, now youve completely changed your tack.have you even seen them play before. i should not be wasting time replying to your post ,but here goes ,not many teams will win at kelso, fair enough beat a poor hawick side ,but theyve improved.good results in cups, some when not played well.iralise you were probably having a fish, and ive took the bait.but ijust had to reply to that garbage .see ya ,ya blether

I've been more impressed with Stirling than I have been with Tynecastle and Gala. We didn't create nearly as many chances against the Uni as we did against the other teams, just couldn't finish them.
Stirling might find it difficult away from home but they've got a number of good players. I'm hoping we get promoted but I would anticipate Stirling being in the top 2.

I think stirling have all the ability to go up and certainly should do. the uni league isn't too big a distraction although it is the same team that plays in both competitins i must add. Small problem i worry for is the fact that should stirling continue their cup runs this weekend at tynie, they will have an entire month of cup fixtures(providing no postponments) in novemeber with alex jack final on 29th novemeber. this means only 2 games played by start of december(crazy). I will make a bold statement, stirling uni will definatly get promoted, but the cup runs i agree will make it much more difficult that what mite have been. ON THA LINGGG!!!!!!!!!

mkm 013,youve certainly come out and put the cards on the table regarding stirling, iagree entirely with what you said ,apart from the uni league bit, youre not seriously trying to say that the same team[eg starting eleven] dont differ .same squad yes ,same team no.i would prefer to rack up a few points in the league first before making bold statments about promotion just yet

oh yea, well squads identicle for wednesday fixtures and i know managment has rotated the team for the first 3 games. This cost the uni their only defeat so far in the first game at the hands of edinburgh(something that won't be allowed to be repeated). In the 3rd game we again rested players but with all respect we new RGU were a weaker side. Future games i think will see full strength teams particularly against Edinburgh and Glasgow Universities who have proved to be strong sides. League Points are definatly No. 1 Priority but if we pick up a couple of cups on the way and dispose of gretna too i'll defo take that!

eastisbest,do not try tobacktrack, what you said was the uni are overrated and beat a bad team and scraped past another, total garbage, and as formore distractions, were only in one cup more than gretna and no ones[2 league games less played]giving them the doomsday scenario.see ya slaver.
