Does not look so so good for dalbeatte or Gretna then. Weather is so annoying now as you want to see a game but fear go to one that is off can not make it to another one if to far away. Let hope sun come out.
I think it might be OK.
There was some bad flooding the Friday before the Scotland game that caused Dalbeattie to call the game off that night with their match the next day.
There's been flooding today but it isn't as bad - plus there is only light rain forecast for tomorrow, so it might not be in too bad a nick by the end of tomorrow. Saturday's forecast is a worry though.
If the game is on and it's was windy on Saturday as it is today it'll be fun!

flooding on the pitch? or surrounding area? was thinking about going but may go and watch the vale if any doubts.

Surrounding area like roads, fields etc. No idea about the pitch. I'm more confident it'll be on than off.
Nice and sunny today, game will almost certainly be on

Hope you actually make it down to Annan cause the forecast is very unpleasant for tonight and tomorrow. Plus side though is that the pitch is in perfectly playable condition as we speak and the sun is out.

Brilliant! Blowing a gale I guess. That will play havoc with our cunning hoofball tactics to by pass our midfield of midgets and bring our foward line of slightly taller midgets directly into play.

Not answered my question yet! Do you fancy your chances? Is it worth a flutter? Or are you frenchy in disguise and backing the opposition

Never bet against my own team. As i said worth a bet. !!!
Pitch at Dalbeattie is perfect at the moment, but there will be an inspection first thing tomorrow if there's overnight rain (which is the forecast).
Same goes for Annan.
Pitch inspected around 9am - game is on.

Coming through to the game is there any chance that it might be called off later on? I know the weather is abyssmal.

The inspection this morning was carried out before the rain started in Dalbeattie. Match referee has been asked to leave early in case a further look is needed.
Was quite surprised the rain hadn't started in Dalbeattie before the inspection as Kirkcudbright isn't that far away and it's been chucking it down all morning. Still chucking it down just now and I'd imagine if it's like this in Dalbeattie now there must be a fair chance of it being called off.
If it goes ahead don't bring an umbrella or you'll end up in the middle of the Solway

Dalbeattie game was my last hope of seeing footie today, dont fancy the trek to Annan very much.
Well after three inspections - the last at about twenty past two - it went ahead, although Selkirk will wish it hadn't.
Fairly comfortable 6-0 win for Star, very little for their keeper to do and Scott Milligan with a hat trick. Hope they get a good draw on Monday.
