Yawn, how witty I've never heard that one before. rolleyes.gif

St Mirren have scored as many goals as you in the Champions League this season, and they aren't even in it! laugh.gif

Celtic are now the only team in the competition who have failed to register a goal so far. biggrin.gif

Keep it up Ra Shellik, your doing your country proud. laugh.gif

You can slag other sides when your side actually do something, you lot would be as good as being in it as much as the rest of the SPL are.
JUMPURS
It is easy to gloat when you aren't in it to compete.

St Mirren have also played as many Champions league group stage games as you.

Yeah the team that got put out by the mighty Kaunus would have done Scotland proud. Jealousy is such an ugly thing.

You mean that side who went to Parkhead, and beat your side 4-2? biggrin.gif

So if we beat you 4-2, does this mean Kanus could beat you as well? unsure.gif

Yes i mean the team who got pumped 1-0 off St Mirren wink.gif

Least the game we lost was to the team 2nd in the league.

It's quite comforting to know that someone else in the family has the family brain cell. What's that got to do with anything?

No trouble whatsoever, even although two big supports were mixed together all day in pubs around the city, plus the feeling against Glaswegians and Scots in general after the Uefa final.

Indeed. That was the worst thing of the whole evening. There really was no comeback to it sad.gif

It was also worth noting that there were no fan zones on account of the blue mob's touching gestures last season.

Considering The Bill is only shown on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I think its highly unlikely.

Spot of fighting a few rows down from where I was sitting in the Stretford end between a United fan and a couple of Celtic fans (who were in the wrong end wearing colours!) The United fan was "rightfully" ejected for headbutting one and punching another.

There must of been a couple of thousand Celtic fans in the United end last night at least, most of them wearing there Celtic colours as well.

QUOTE ( Manc polis)
CELTIC fans have been praised for their behaviour by Manchester police as they provided another positive example to everyone on how to support their team regardless of the result.

Despite the disappointment of losing 3-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League, the Celtic support further enhanced their excellent reputation and that of the Club during the visit to Manchester.

Match Commander Superintendent John Graves of Greater Manchester Police said: “I have no doubt that, for those Celtic fans who made the trip to Old Trafford for the Champions League fixture against Manchester United, it was a long and eventful day.

“Whilst I know the result of the game wasn't what Celtic fans would have wanted, the result of the overall event surely was. Any major sporting event is a challenge to police, and a sell-out crowd at one of the nation's largest stadiums for a game between two of Britain's greatest clubs, has to rank amongst the biggest.

“Making such events a success is not just down to the police and the clubs, it’s a responsibility of everyone involved, especially the supporters.

“As the Police Match Commander at Old Trafford, I would like to pass on my thanks to those Celtic fans who came to support their club in the finest traditions of genuine football fans, and ambassadors of Glasgow.

“From a policing and safety perspective, the game was a great success. There were very few incidents and arrests, and nothing that should detract from a great footballing occasion.

“I have to say that Celtic Football Club has every right to be proud of its fans. Those who braved the night in a windy and wet Manchester were a credit to the club.

“I would also like to compliment the Celtic stewards who helped tremendously throughout the game and added great value to the safety operation.

“We have a cliche in Manchester about the eyes of Europe being upon Old Trafford during these massive football games, and this was no exception.

“I believe that Celtic fans did a great deal to enhance not only the club's reputation across Europe, but also their own - well done

Look at that story, ONLY A FEW ARRESTS.

Now, I've heard there was only 4 arrests.

4/6000 = 1500

42/200000 = 4761.9 (4762)

So there was 1 arrest in 1500 at Manchester when Celtic go.

There was 1 in 4762 when we went. wink.gif

That video did have a bit of fighting in it, but it is stopped quickly by the police. You can barely see them because of the crowd though.

There was only 42 arrests when you were there cos the coppers didn't have enough manpower to make more or it would have been treble figures. Remember that count is to go up as they are still hunting down your fans with the cctv footage from the services and public transport...as they said...'They'll come and get you in your sleep'

as for your video it's Man U fans getting all wound up cos we have just sung YNWA...hence why they are chanting 'You Scouse Bastards'. Hardly the same as going on the rampage and bringing shame on yourselves and the country
glasnost
There was a couple of incidents before the game near the stadium. I think we were given the Trafford pub so therefore this was hardly a surprise.

Never seen any trouble myself. Spent the day in Chorlton and had a great time before and after the game.

I not got much time for glasgow teams but when you look at this video there is a few who sing this and as soon as the camera turns you see the disgust in people faces at these we f#nnys singing it. Its a small amount of fans no matter where you go who act like f#nnys. Celtic fans behaved well as usual. They do scotland proud that way, Rangers should send scoutsnd. down to see what they do to be so well behaved, only chance they might see of europe the now of outside scotland
