More investment into the club would be a big bonus, as it seems we certainly need it. For the fact that we did not have enough cash to get another loan signing suggests that we are really struggling for cash. It was good of Mr Bennett to give us the £200,000, but I am afraid it's more than that that is required. If there are other investors willing to give money to us then I am all for it, as long as the cash is legitimate and that there are no crooks that are wanting to buy into the club, as we certainly have had our fair share of unwanted publicity regarding chairmen, owners over the last 20 years or so.

This is where Saints do so well and bring in non-football income to be self-supporting and indeed have a larger player budget. More must be done to find off-field ways of bringing business/funds into the Club that don't involve donations/investment or any kind of further borrowing.

Saints were 'lucky' to go through the doldrums 20 years ago. They fell down the leagues without having a modern stadium to support financially and were turned round from basically nothing. A nice blank canvas. Dundee don't have that luxury, modern facilities that all the clubs were required to have cant be paid for by sales of players or even gate reciepts. With the money invested in dens, it would be a big write off to leave them behind, however location wise it is difficult to think of any other activiies that could be done there, or if there is the space to do it.

dundee knocked back investment from a consortium that wanted to take them over, as a new invester is willing to put in more to stabilise the club. talks are going well and providing everything goes to plan this time. dundee will have a new chairman/owner by end of november at the latest. this isnt a rumour. is this person connected to the new manager very much yes draw your own conclusion from this!!!!
