In 2009 is het Nederlands elftal in het kader van de plaatsingscampagne voor het WK 2010 de eerste twee thuisinterlands te gast bij de Amsterdam ArenA. Het laatste WK-kwalificatietreffen van deze voetbaljaargang wordt in Stadion Feijenoord gespeeld.

In Amsterdam ontvangt Oranje achtereenvolgens Schotland en Macedonië op respectievelijk zaterdag 28 maart en woensdag 1 april. De KNVB heeft er - vanwege organisatorische redenen - voor gekozen deze 'dubbel' aan hetzelfde stadion toe te wijzen. Het duel met de Noren in Rotterdam, tevens de laatste WK-kwalificatieinterland op eigen bodem, staat voor woensdag 10 juni op het programma.

De drie interlands beginnen alle om 20.45 uur.

I think we're probably going to make it a 5 day trip and go via a German city, possibly Hamburg, Munich or Berlin

Trying to get flights with easyjet but it's only letting you selct upto the 28th. Anyone know when we will be able to book flights for dates after?

Actually, it doesn't matter that it's a Saturday, does it- every day's a Saturday when you're on holiday.

I've just booked flights, roundabout trip, prestwick to dublin with ryanair, dublin to amstersdam with aer lingus and the same for the return, leaving friday morning and returning lunchtime on sunday, flights only £156
