The one bright light in the Scotland game was the return to form of Scott Brown after a number of months of personal tragedy, Welcome back, a display full of energy, passion and quality. A lovely unassuming lad who is very level headed and who could become a great in the Scotland blue. Brown and Ferguson could be one of the great midfield partnerships in the making for us. I hope Scott can get back the consistency that he showed previously, a top pro.

you don't half talk shite.

Scott Brown has got better and better since he joined Celtic and I think its fair to say he should now be one of 4 or 5 players who should be first on the team sheet if fit.

And apparently he is lovely and unassuming. That's worth a cap in it's own right as well.

Nice to see a thread about something positive from the game. I thought Scott Brown had a terrific game and he's getting to the sort of form that got him capped for Scotland in the first place.

He seems to be finally putting his alarming dip in form, as well as the problems he experienced in his family life behind him.

What a load of bollocks. A very, very ordinary midfielder. And whether he is "lovely and unassuming" is irrelevant, if possibly untrue.

He's a silly shite who has lost the cocky nature to his game since moving to Celtic. Lose that and he's lost half his game.

Brown was immense on Saturday.

Ok, he gave the ball away once or twice but he must have won possession for us about 15 times during the game.

I'll take that ratio any day and would play him with Fergie once he's back.
Darren Fletcher must be dropped soon or else he'll start to think he's not doing anything wrong!

MoM for me on saturday and was good to see a performance from him again, BUT............

He will be wasted playing defensive midfield his whole career, the is an attacking midfielder with vision and needs to be played there if we are to see the best of him. As someone said he seems to have lost that cocky arrogance to his game, thats what makes him the player he is and he needs to get that back ASAP.
