basically ive got a 300gb harddrive full of music and i want to import to my itunes
i am making a a right chunt of it ie i cannae do it
so anybody get any tips how to do it???

Create a new folder, cut and paste all your music into this folder, in itunes select file - add folder to library, sit and wait for ages !!

Thats How I'd do it anyway
