Why do England always get the rub of the green when it comes to the draw.If we had a group like theirs i'm sure we would be in a better position an would qualify.Borats mob looked like a pub team and England struggled at times to break them down. It's just not fair i tells ya!

...do I think we would have finished 2nd (with a decent number of points) out of a group consisting of Croatia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakstan, and Andorra? Bearing in mind that we have lost to Macedonia and drawn at home to Norway in 'real-life'? No I don't - because I don't think Norway are particularly better than Ukraine, and I'm pretty confident that Belarus (who we took 1 point from last time) would beat Macedonia. People need to realise - we aren't that good anymore, and we're unlikely to qualify.

Ok that's a fair point i suppose, just picking at straws.Just hard to accept that once again we're not good enough when it comes to the nitty gritty.

Croatia..EASY!
England had their once every 5 years freak result against better opposition, against them, but Croatia will probably beat England by the same score at Wembley, so there's no real gain.
England are at best average as an international football team, their players are hyped up by the media and sadly for them, it usually always ends up in tears, so perhaps we should enjoy their "easy" groups, because we all know they will all be crying in the end.

Sorry t0 burst your bubble mate but their group isn't that much easier than ours. Plus they're first seeds & we're second seeds, so you would expect them to get an easier group.

Actually England were second seeds, so we'd have got Croatia/Ukraine/Belarus/Kazakhstan/Andorra.

My bad so they were
Actually were we second seeds or third seeds? I'm starting to doubt myself now.

Nope, we'd end up blowing it at home to Khazakstan
Burley would be playing 1 up front
Their group is actually harder than ours
Ukraine, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Andorra - No thanks at all.
I could see us picking up maybe 4 points on the road or so from that group.

England's group is only "easier" because they have a better team than we do.
And to answer the original question, if we can't beat the likes of Norway at Hampden, then no.
I actually think our group is easier than Englands. We would be struggling in their group without a shadow of a doubt.
