The home and away in Scotland bias is nonsence, there is no signs for that. Although the SPL have been criticised and rightly so, for forcing Rangers to play so many games in a space of a week with Manchester being in the middle of it. All over the world, players and even managers are laughing at the SPL over that decision. A complete balls up on the behalf of them. Otherwise I have no complaints about the SPL, thats just small minded fans.

Some of them are no doubt over reacting to every little wind up song sung by Rangers fans being skelped with the racist/sectarian stick, after timmy has warped them and put their own spin on them. While they were allowed to sing about a certain organisation with nothing said (until now).

The final one you quoted made me laugh, looks like it's not just some of the tims that are poorly educated.

The mobalising as a unit point is perfectly valid, if every time something was done which our support didn't agree with, and they all sent complaints to one place/one paper/one organisation then no doubt something would be addressed, a few complaints will do nothing, but 200,000 or so would certainly get the message across about us being unhappy. Even the government wouldn't like to see 200,000 complaints on the one thing, they would no doubt want to look into it as to appease these people and keep their votes.

What a waste of tax payers money. tongue.gif

Accept that support for a sectarian ”political” organisation is not Political, but is indeed sectarian, if that organisation’s core motive is/was to kill members of a different faith to their own.

Really? Do you have some quotes from L'Equipe or La Marca to back up this outlandish and ludicrous claim laugh.gif

The only laughter I heard was about Rangers' bleating.

Indeed. The Provos are well known as Catholic killers. Which makes the wee peas Kafflick bigots amongst the Celtic fanbase's support of the provisionals even more difficult to understand.

Maybe because is political rather than religious?

Rangers fans due to the Billy boys being banned have took a massive lurch to the right IMO, they have also broken the "understanding" that existed in Scottish fooball about what could and should not be verbally attacked, they broke it with their Jock Stein crap and now have pushed it well beyond with the famine song.

Rangers sang a song about a man who protected a Paedophile and God only knows how many children suffered because of Stein and indeed Celtics failures. For Celtic to try and take the moral high ground is laughable. As for the Famine song..get a sense of humour.

Fenian is not a sectarian term. In fact Rangers were cleared of any wrong doing originally and i believe it was people connected to Scottish football who asked UEFA to go back and look again at the matter. Was MON not involved in some way?

Hun has been classed as a sectarian term for quite a while but every club we play use it in their songs..I am not expecting any action to be taken soon rolleyes.gif

It was UEFA's own man who protested about about the initial decision to do nothing and forced a rethink. wink.gif

Uefa originally found Rangers fans not guilty of disciminatory chants but that decision was challenged by disciplinary inspector Gerhard Kapl.

No, but they went out there way at times to target places they knew would be predominantly protestant, or somewhere a large number of protestants had gathered.

I find it hard to digest that so many so called intalectual persons do not know what the song is about, i think they should go back and hang there heads in shame, there is so much jealousy against the cathlic public against our team it makes me feel sick every time i hear them talk on this subject, the society we live in is making me feel like the country i live in is turning catholic, you never hear protestant crys against the republican chants, walks and so on - Charles Davie

I think the fact of the matter is that it was Jock Stein who personally made sure the club got rid of the scum who where involved. That is fact.
I have no wish to further debate the subject.

Typical timmy education.

"We Are the People" is the way it should be written. Only your mob like using "ra" usually when you're singing

"oo ah up the 'ra"

As you'll find, Feeder also used this for the name of one of their songs.

No doubt this song had, on many Celtic forums across the Internet, a "boycott Feeder they're pyoor biguted huns" thread. laugh.gif

Alas though, unlike our support, the song was sh*t.
