Edited to say - how can we comment on performances other than those against or own teams? Do many of us boycott our own matches to attend others as neutrals?

Best: Ehh... bearing in mind I wasn't at Dundee, I'm going to stick my neck out and say St. Johnstone. Yes, a team that couldn't even beat the worst team in First Division history, for f**k's sake. I thought they played well, although if Livingston or Airdrie ever had to get out of first gear they could well have been better, and, in all seriousness, we could have been talking double figures, considering how easy it was for them when they were treating it like a training game.
Worst: Ross County. Just edging out Clyde. It speaks volumes for how bad we are that we got beat 3-0 by what on that display appears to be a Second Division team, and if anyone who's seen us (with the exception of Dunfermline fans) doesn't say we're the worst, may the men in white coats whisk you away soon.
Seriously, has the 2nd Division got worse year on year? Even the year we won it, which IMO was the worst 2nd Division I've ever seen, I'd be shocked if a team regularly turning in performances like County did today made the playoffs.
Although that would suggest it's back to ye olde Division Three for us.

Dunfermline and Thistle both played very well against us and made the most of what were incredibly poor St Johnstone performances. Thistle maybe had a bit more flair and totally dominated the midfield and restricted our chances whereas Dunfermline's front two caused us problems. For winning in the manner they did at McDiarmid though, I'll go for Dunfermline. As said, Thistle were excellent as well though.
I'm not sure anyone has been as bad against us as we were in the three league games towards the end of August. I'd fear for any side named worse than us by Pars, Thistle or Clyde fans. I didn't think Clyde needed to be good to beat us but then we maybe just dragged them down to our level. Dundee last week were totally toothless but they are solid enough at the back, same could apply to Airdrie, although they offered more of a threat going forward. In short, we have probably turned in the three worst performances I've seen this season.

We were the worst you have seen, yet we still manage to hump you. Yet the quality of our first and third goals shows that we can play excellent football at times. Boo hoo poor Morton.

For all they lost at Palmerston, Partick Thistle are easily the best opposition I've seen this season. Dunfermline played reasonably and St Johnstone looked strong (but not as good as I expected). Airdrie and County both knocked the ball around well but were toothless in the final third.
Clyde last week are the worst side I've seen. Also easily. For all the Morton fans protests they did ok in two games against us. Can only assume they aren't usually as bad but Livingston would be next poorest. We started well and to be fair they showed a bit of fight for a spell in the middle of the first half but the second half was abject. It could have been ten. Even Clyde never cracked like that.

IMO those who said Airdrie are hard to break down are mental as they played shite against us, how teams cant score goals aginst them is a mistery, come on if they play Paul Lovering teams should get at least 4 or 5
Best: Dunfermline (only decent team i have seen play, was not impressed by livi and couldnt be bothered to go to palmerston)

Best:- Clyde/Airdrie - They both shut us down extremely well and looked decent on the break (Airdrie slightly more so). I may have gone for Queens but I don't think it would be fair as we were absolutely shocking and couldn't give them a decent contest.
Worst:- Ross County - Merely on the basis that their discipline was awful. They lead themselves to their own downfall. I haven't really seen anyone who has been shocking apart from us in our defensive display yesterday.

I must be mental then as I thought they were hard to break down until we scored our second. Robertson literally didn't make a save in the first half, all he had to do was pick the ball out of the net from a deflected shot. In the first 30 minutes we had virtually all the possession and territory but couldn't create chances. We only got a third as Airdrie had committed a lot of men forward.
They didn't look too clever going forward and mis-placed a lot of passes but they were ok defensively IMO.

Definetly
they may have been hard to break down, but have you stopped to think that saints had no creative flair and lacked any real attacking purpose, as we were content to sit back when we were winning, and when we lost the goal we ran them ragged as our tempo increased but then we sat back, and airdrie still created nothing decent
