Well, R:FOM was amazing, and Resistance 2, by looking at videos of the beta, looks like its gonna be even better

Theres confusion over the release date, I think its out on the 7th of November in UK, 4th in USA.

This game is going to be great, anyone dislike the first one?





Resistance 2 Gameplay Footage

Yeh, i thought it was boring, generic and pretty dull.

Difficult to make too much of that as the res of the video is low. It seems to move at a decent speed, but I'll go with MarreZ on this that it doesn't look like it adds much to the genre.

Suppose its a love it hate it game, I like it waay better than COD

The problem with all these console FPS's is that they have been done over and over on the PC and far better. Its probably a decent console shooter, but theres at least a dozen better ones on the pc.

Got to agree with that. I play Resistance a LOT on the PS3 and think it is a brilliant game but nothing compared to the best PC FPS's. I don't play PC games as much as console ones but from what I do play PC games are on the whole better.

Resistance 2, for me, looks too much like a hybrid between COD4, Halo and Gears of War. The reason I loved the 1st one was because of it's originality with gameplay and the weapons but the new one looks more modern and it seems to have lost it's identity. It still promises to be a great game though
