He really used those old Chelsea and Pompey connections well, didn't he? Kitarimikie, Neil Barratt and other dross that I can't remember at this point of time.

Suppose he got Steve Lovell through those "connections", on the flip side.

Not a bad signing, but wait, why am I sticking up for Jim Duffy? huh.gif

Why not? I'd have my self in my dream team upfront along with Andrey Arshavin and Jesus Christ.

Stainrod's Fedora
Along with Kelvin Jack, Kitamirike is the only real rival to Freddie for the worst Dundee player I've ever seen.

I'm assuming from that comment that you missed half of the 70's, a bit of the 80's, most of the 90's and a fair skelp of the 00's.

If that's the case then you're one lucky bar steward. huh.gif

Is that the same one I'm thinking about? If so, he was more like a pop star than a footballer.

I remember coming back from the Killie game in the season Dundee went down having lost. Dundee were losing to Inverness meaning we would stay up and then that p***k scored. Was gutted, but made for a good game a week later.

It's amazing the dross that Chelsea seemed to have around that time.

Jean Yves Anus and Andy Ross spring to mind too. blink.gif

So in this Chelsea reserve team there was:
Jean Yves-Anis(was at Clydebank last season, not sure now)
Andy Ross(went to Australia a few years back, because nobody wanted him. Probably returned with tail between his legs at one point)
Ryan Stevenson(Chelsea to St Johnstone to Ayr)
Steven Watt(Left Chelsea reserves for Swansea's reserves, then onto ICT's reserves and now in County's reserves)
Joel Kitamarike(Jail perhaps)
Joe Keenan(in and out of Hibs side, after playing for various sides consisting of dross)
Felipe Morais(Hibs reserves, after being pretty up and down for St Johnstone)
Yves MaKalamby(Hibs dud goalkeeper)

What a truly rancid side they must have been to watch.
Juan Sara
Sebastian Kneissl aswell, wasn't too bad when he was with us but unheard of nowadays.

I think you are all purposely forgetting that JK played alongside John Terry for numerous years, played in Europe with JT at like 20 (albeit vs Telaviv in the middle of the threats.)

I must say, that must have been a fantastic team!
