Hey, I'd be looking for 1 ticket, didn't manage to get one in the ballot...if anybody could help that would be awesome!

I know, I know it's my own fault for not joining the travel club but I've been out the country for 14 months and when I got back I couldn't sign up because it was full!

Anyways, if some generous person out there can help, PM me!

Cheers!

Like several others, I'm looking for a spare ticket or two. Daft cousin and uncle missed out on the ballot so I said I'd try and find them some tickets (in a repeat of last year dry.gif). Anyone who's got any could PM me or my email is in my profile.
Fudge
Go to the ground about 90 mins before kick off and ask around and you should be able to get a ticket for face value no problems. My mates have done this for every home qualifier from the Belarus game onwards and have got tickets every time.
dave258
Even the Italy game?

Yeah. And for the France game, all 3 of them got tickets in the Scotland end, and our French mate got one in the France end.

People's circumstances change at short notice, people don't turn up for supporters club busses etc so there are ususally quite a few people who are glad you are taking their mate's ticket off their hands.
Larbert_Par
Got my tickets and bus sorted from the Colonial for Saturday. Can't wait.

The hash has clearly gone to your head. Who the hell was ever going to offer anything below face value?
Rory89
For the whole last campaign I got sent a letter through my door a few weeks before the games, meaning I never had to worry about missing games. If they weren't going to do it this campaign they could of at least said that, me nor anyone I go to Scotland games with got any information sent about the game, so none of us are going.

As I joined the Travel Club this campaign I'll try and go to the Iceland, Macedonia and Holland games and after that the SFA can ram it.

Your still at it! You just said you would take the HIGHEST OFFER! If the ticket is for the West Stand sell it to the first person who offers you the £25 face value.

YOU ARE TOUTING!
doulikefish
always surprising how easy it is to get tickets on the day of the game as fudge says hit the ground around half 1,and before that you should be in the pubs close to hampden as its mainly bus travellers and theres usually quite a few no shows etc etc etc
i got 2 tickets for friends the other day without too much trying face value aswell

I don't understand your post.

If you are a member of the Scotland Supporters Club (or Travel Club as it used to be) then you would have gotten a form some time ago to fill out. This would have entitled you to one ticket for the game. You and anyone else you go to games with who are also members, can apply on the one form and get tickets together. If you didn't recieve this form then I would suggest that you check that the SSC have correct details for you as sounds like an admin error.

If you have only become a member this campaign, why did get letters through for the previous campaign? Was that a mailing list thing?

Seen young Iain buying tickets of Budgie last night, that's a shame you can't go and repeat your Copenhagen antics.

They don't send letters or application forms through the post any more unless they have no e-mail details for you. I don't get them any longer either but the wife, who is registered with no e-mail address, DOES still get a form.

It would appear that Rory doesn't get a form, presumably either doesn't check the e-mail address he once registered or doesn't have it any more, and somehow managed to miss the national publicity in the press and on websites like this that the tickets had actually gone on sale and he and his mates missed the deadline for applications.

That's how I read it anyway.

So it would appear that he is blaming the SFA for not making him check the email address that he gave them, not ensuring that he reads the papers and just generally not realising that a game was coming up and doing something about getting tickets.
Jeez, the SFA really need to get their act together, I mean, imagine not doing everything for everyone.

I'm in a similar situation, of me, my Dad, my brother and his brother in law who all go to games together none of us have received an e-mail from the SSC since we renewed our memberships (and we do check our e-mails) and only one of us receives anything through the post.
MonTheRovers!!
I've just gotten a ticket and a seat on the bus through to Glasgow at half past 9. Not been to a Scotland game since Holland 1-0 at home ages ago.

Fair looking forward to it smile.gif

I have 1 ticket for sale.
Live in the Glasgow area, and could meet buyer in George Square or similar location, on the Saturday morning.

Yeah, I wasn't defending Rory particularly (because frankly you'd need to have had a sleep like Rip van Winkle to have not noticed the game was coming up) but equally the SFA's communication appears haphazard. I certainly got an e-mail for this game (and for the Argentina one last week) but I have in the past received nothing that way and, when postal forms did come out I often got them AFTER the sale had started which really isn't good enough.

I haven't had a postal form since the last renewal but the wife is getting them and it says in a note that she has them because they don't have an e-mail address for her.
Iain
My tickets (bought through SSC) haven't arrived and the SFA have agreed to provide alternative tickets from returns. Still 3 together, so that's good, but if the seats are hopeless I'll be lodging a strongly worded complaint.
Shibuya
Seems to me like Rory is a total halfwit to be honest! Get on the feckin phone to the SSC if you think you are due tickets ya walloper.

See you at Hampden! smile.gif

And for those who dont have tickets, get to the ground about an hour before kick off - preferably with a big sign saying "I NEED A TICKET" and you'll get one - worked for me last campaign!
dave258
A few tickets going up for grabs on the TAMB already guys, early bird catches the worm and all that.
