Full Version: Why Can't Celtic Take Their Referees With Them?
The Pie Shop > The Cups > Scots in Europe
th1stleandr0se
Celtic can't win a game in Europe because Johnny Foreigner doesn't know that Celtic are supposed to get all contentious decisions towards the end of a tight match. Whay can't they take Scottish refs with them. They know what to do. All non-Old Firm fans will know what I mean.

Seriously though, 60,000 fans shouting as one voice must influence a single individual out there. When Celtic don't have that working in their favour it's more difficult to win (plus, of course, the opposition has the same effect working for them).

I find it very funny how they are all going absolutely skitso over getting 1 decision against them, yet they have had quite a few this season, as well as last and all of a sudden they are the victims here. laugh.gif

Welcome to the real world Celtic fans, where decisions go for and against you, that is where the referees actually have the balls to give them against you and not just for you.

What a absolutely pointless thread to start, weak too, could you not have added it into the therad about Celtic already? daftie rolleyes.gif

Well no we aren’t all going skitso.

Welcome to the real world Celtic fans,

Perhaps you need to be welcomed to the real world. Football supporters, like managers and players, are hypocritical. This is simply a reflection of that.

Celtic got out cheated, haha poetic justice.

Don't think we got cheated at all, the better team won.

Indeed. It’s interesting that DAFC thinks we got cheated out of the game.

Most definately another one that makes things up then attributes them as the "generalised" opinion of the Celtic support.

Really? surely the rules would not allow that to happen?

You're probably right, but can you explain the discrepancy between Celtic's home and away form in Europe if it isn't to do with big crowds making the difference, whether by inspiring the home team to press more or influencing referees?

After the way Celtic and Nakamura cheated us at Love Street last season and how Hesselink & Eddie Smith cheated us at Parkhead this season it was a pleasure to see CFeltic at the wrong end of a bad refereeing decision in Europe.

Let's face it - Celtic are never on the receiving end in Scotland.

Dirty bigots.

Compare and contrast the reactions:

Taking it on the chin, "the best team won" etc.

Endless mewling all over the forum, childish name calling, ugly all-but-hun faces turning various hues of aubergine, babble about the IRA, delusional conspiracy theories, typing thinly veiled stuff about referees' schools/relations who are known Catholics ...etc
