Did they not already do a c&c fps a few years back?

Not that I am aware of, although there could be. Maybe console only?

Rings a bell actually. I must have played it at some time, can't imagine an FPS to pass me by in 2002.

I never played it at the time, it didnt get that good reviews, although it was a bit like starcraft, people still play it today.

Renegade was mediocre at best. Other FPS's of the time blew it out the water both in terms of graphics and gameplay. Unlike the strategy C&C games where you could predict to a certain degree of what would happen, Renegade was one of the most linear games I've ever played.

TBH, I'm not surprised at Tiberium being cancelled if it had any resemblance to Renegade...
