Do any of the stats men on here have anything to do with or know anything about the Scottish Football Archive Website?

It used to contain every individual league result from any given season, but since a revamp on 25th August 2008 it now only appears to show the final league tables. I e-mailed the site but got no response.

Are there any other sites which contain full results archives (including English results if poss.)?

Try this for size.
http://www.statto.com/football/stats/scotl...ults/1997-08-03
for a typical day's results and navigate from there. You can view results for any day and the table at any date as well for all Scottish divisions over the years.

The start of the stats pages is http://www.statto.com/football/stats
and you can pick up English results as well.

Edit - Morton fans might remember this

.... and St Mirren supporters will enjoy this !

How good would it be if our top league was still as tight every season as this one? sad.gif

I remember the 1st December 1979. I was at Easter Road that day. Bottom of the league Hibs with just one win and three draws in 16 games were playing a mid-table Partick Thistle. Not exactly the kind of fixture to pull the crowds out on a cold winter's afternoon eh?

20,622 packed in to Easter Road that day!! It's amazing the effect on attendances when you have a world class legend like George Best is making his home debut!

I was there as well and, yes, it was probably because George was playing. He was fat and slow but far classier than anyone else on the park, certainly too clever for his colleagues. He made defence-splitting passes which a good team would have exploited. Hibs won but didn't capitalise on most of the opportunities he made.

I haven't the time to trawl through all the league tables but can any other Jags fans tell me; have Partick ever been at the top of the league, even fleetingly?

Hello,

I run the Scottish Football Archive website and the site still has the full fixtures for each of the seasons:

2006-07

I must admit that the link to these is now too buried for people to find, but in trying to re-arrange the bulk of the data, it appears to be lost - I'll fix that now!

If you need a specific season, or by club, or by whatever, just let me know (I didn't get your email btw).

I've recently obtained lineup data and will be adding this to the site in the next month too (probably only for the last five seasons, and then progressing onwards from there).

Any suggestions or helpers always appreciated.

Site updated! Apologies for the delay.

As always, I'm looking for suggestions and assistance where possible with the site, I have a lot of data behind the scenes but it's how to display it that I struggle with and how people want to access it.

I didn't get your email, but I've updated the server DNS entries to make sure that I'll get them in the future! Apologies for that too!
