Says the guy who called Jamie Stevenson our most talented attacking midfield player since Lindberg laugh.gif

A shame it never worked out. Jamie only has himself and to a lesser extent, McInally, to blame. I WAS correct, though. smartass.gif

Anyway, moral of the story is not to make rash comments as they may come back and bite you on the arse. tongue.gif

It is good to have a defender in a Morton shirt that does not make you shit yourself every time he gets the ball.
Very clever at mopping up and not afraid to hoof it out when things get difficult. A gem of a find.
I can't help but think that he must be having a positive influence on our back 4, as Greacan and McGregor look more sound than before.

Must say I wasn't impressed with him against Dundee. He did well to limit Curier to only a few half-chances, but then that wouldn't be hard. He didn't look like a good ball player, and one who could read a game very well, but I was slated for thinking that, so he must be better than I think he is. He reminded me a bit of Brent Sancho actually (not just the looks).

Personally, I wouldn't like him in our starting 11, even though we've been shipping goals of late.

Have you actually watched any of the games. I reckon you were absent yesterday?

It just shows how poor Morton FC are run as a football club then.

Coming from a Dundee fan. laugh.gif laugh.gif

What's your debt again?

QUOTE (Muggy :) @ Oct 1 2008, 13:39) *
Yes, that is equally true, but being bottom of the the first division with a wage structure that is not to dissimilar to that of an SPL club, doesn't speak volumes about the way the club is run, especially when you consider they have a bigger wage packet than most other first division sides.

Regardless of what other supporters think, Morton have so much potential. If they are run by people who at least have a clue about how to run a football club, then nothing would stop them from challenging for promotion to the SPL each season.

I agree.

From the crazy above comments, to this, proves you're more fucked up than Michael Jackson.

Muggy, would you seriously, seriously not take Shimmin over that big galoot that played number 5 yesterday (McKeown)?
HardingsHamstring
Was that the one that watched the ball bounce over his head countless times while being outpaced by Peter Weatherson?

Oh! A point about Weatherson. He looks much fitter now. Charging about after any ball he lost for the full 90 minutes.

But Shimmin is just different class. A stick on for our player of the season. He hasn't had a bad game yet.

2 mistakes when going up for headers and totally misjudging them and missing the ball, what would have once been known as 'doing a Greacen', but you can forgive that considering the wind, and other than that he was his usual formidable self. This guy is quality, he'd walk into any team in this division.

Deserved award for his brilliance:

Hopefully he'll be fit again very soon to win us games single-handedly. cool.gif
