bigdaftgoalie
After the rose's victory on saturday against bankfoot windy decided to reward his team with a training session after the game. In all my years in football i've never heard of a manager punish his team with hard running after a defeat nevermind a victory. Bonnyrigg have made the perfect start to the season and have won all their games which makes saturdays events all the more puzzling. I would love to know what the manager hoped to achieve with this, apart from further alienating himself from the players.
the trialist
it sounds like you hold a grudge against bonnyrigg and the manager even after the great start they have made

I was certainly surprised with his actions. Sure we didn't play well but we won and I thought the players were certainly trying, it was just one of those games where you can get dragged down to a poorer teams level. Spoke to a couple of the players who definately were not happy but when are players ever happy when they are running.

Chin up lads, image what might of happened if you had got beat.

The thing that would bother me as a player is ,you all get accussed of not trying hard enough in the game and get ordered out to do hard running then the goalie tells the manager to f**k off !Tells him he,s not doing it and has a shower, the rest of the players go and run, who,s the boss Miller or Coyle, sort it out Miller or your good start go,s to pot. mad.gif

Coyle was spot on in my view, the other players should of told him the same. What was wrong with giving the players an extra hard session on the tuesday at training behind closed doors instead of humiliating them on a saturday, not to mention how disrespectful it is to your opposing players who you have just knocked out the cup. I think he is getting a bit carried away with himself and needs to take a reality check.

Dont talk pish smurfit. Obviously you have never played bad and won not. Coyle was spot on. What did he do wrong to get extra running. Probably saved Bonnyrigg from a humiliating result I think. If Mr Miller wants to prove he is above Junior football which he obviously thinks he is thats up to him but to give the guys extra running is pish. Drop the useless sods next week. As boon says wait till they play well and lose. Whats the punishment. Full time training twat.

Tell coyle to give penicuik a call, we had snowy in goals at the weekend and he'll not get treated like a silly wee laddie with us.
I'm sure he would rather play for midlothians No1 team anyway, not the soap opera that bonnyrigg have become. tongue.gif

Somebody told me windy was a fanny and saturday just confirms it.

is it just me or does

You obviously dont know coyle that well if you think he can work a computer and even if he could work out how to turn his machine on his post would be one word answers not full sentences. laugh.gif

The keeper was quite right in telling him to stick it and the rest of the squad should have followed suit. What he done was humilliating for the players and the Committee should have put a stop to it when they heard what was happening. Did the team deliberately mean to be poor? I wouldn't imagine so.

Windy is a clown and should not be in that position in the first place. Windy wants everything to be about him and he's always been like that, even from his Edinburgh days.

Deny it, of course not because of my alias and the fact I think windy is an arsehole I must be coyle, mustn't I?

I've spoke to many people on this topic and they have all said the same, Alan Miller is obviously getting to big for his boots and that his actions on saturday were holy unjustified.

I cant wait for his fall from grace it will be massive, he is not a players manager and these guys get found out when the going gets tough, would you go that bit extra for a manager who treats players like that? cool.gif

Without knowing all the ins and outs of this, if the manager thinks the players have not performed adequately then he is entitled to demand further training and respect from them !.

Why should it all be about Windy being to big for his boots ?..... is there not perhaps an element that the players have become too big for their boots after their reasonable start to the season ?... dictating when and where they will train !. Not that i have any affiliation or sympathy for Bonnyrigg and i hope your good form leaves town as quickly as it arrived, but the manager is there to do what and as he sees fit. If nothing else it seems to have given the players a wake up call.

How's things anyway Boon old bean, you've not been verbally abusing us for a while ?..

I've been keeping a low profile till we see how the seasons shapes up, it's been all good so far but I just feel our wheels may come off at any moment, especially with all the controversy surrounding our club.

Any, how can I slag lithgae off when they have so many bonnyrigg legends playing for them these days.

Hope they have another off days this saturday wink.gif

The Green Brazil u do talk pish,Coyle had a great game so should be exempt from running ? What about the 2 goal scorers should they not be exempt from running ? Football is all about a team, not individuals, you go down that route and your F****D. Coyle was wrong,Alan Miller must learn quickly or he,ll back managing at a lower level again.( where he,s won nothing ) Anyway enlighten everybody and tell us what u won and who u played for ? smile.gif

Well how do the big boys feel about taking Paul Parkin off our hands after he told windy to shove his team up his arse and has since been placed on the transfer list.

The issue of players money has never gone away at the rose and parkie asked for a transfer after he was allegedly bumped out of wages and from what I hear he isn't the only player unhappy about the irregularities in the pay packets.. Apparently there are a number of players that are still owed money from last season. If this is true they should be straight on the phone to tom johnstone and i'm sure he would sort things out for them.

what position does he play, and remember all the carrigan money has been spent wink.gif hypocrite.gif

Parkin had a few games for us as a trailist about 3 seasons ago. JS wasn't impressed.
Caddon
Is there not something about breaching the contract if you've not been paid what your were due or promised? If I'm correct, the lad Parkin is no longer a B'rigg player.....

Cmon smurfy you must be a rose player. Make up your mind as you obviously saw Coyle play well on saturday so dont have a go at me go and speak to your manager at training and tell him to his face what you cowardly said earlier if you have the balls. Its an in house problem but players like you must be hiding on saturdays and thats why you got extra.

He was shite for us as a trialist and i think he went to Musselburgh. He isn't anything to shout home about and wouldn't bring anything to our squad. However, if he had a brother that was a good centre half or creative midfielder....................
