Ok, the game is out next Friday, and I'm sure a few of you would like to partake in some sort of online league.

Now that I'm finally online , I'd be right up for this.

I propose, in the absence of lower leagues, a P&B SPL online league. If we get more than 12, we can maybe extend this to the EPL.

Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Well me and Dale tried this on fifa 08 but it never worked out as planned. I would be well up for this but it may take me a while as i need to send my xbox off next week to get repaired . I want to play as Motherwell or Hibs tho

Edit: btw, how do you expect to handle the comms. On the PC you would run a comms app in the background (something like TeamSpeak) which would allow you to separate out channels to ensure not all 20 players are shouting at the same time. What do you do for the 360? Playing multi user football without communication would be a farce.

The 360 microphone as you can only hear your team during the game.
If people dont have a microphone it would be harder but just something you have to put up with.

Who controls that? Or is it centralised from XBox Live?

However, yes, comms are essential. I used to play a lot of clan gaming (MoH/CoD) and trying to be the leader of more than 3 people immediately causes problems.

Not really. The PC can connect to exponentially more machines than XBox Live can.

Xbox live really is superb for online games, im amazed sony didnt copy them, as the online for the ps3 is very shoddy in comparison.

They made a massive mistake not bundling a headset with the ps3, while there was always a few folk with a mic, it had to be integrated into the game, rather than being mandatory for the 360 side of things.

I'd be up for it an' all. I can transfer everything I've learnt from watching Andy dowie the last couple of seasons to the 360 surprisingly easy.

So don't blame me if I lose concentration in the middle of a game.
