Wow, physically knackered after that game. Italy perhaps the better side, but both goals were of the result of lucky breaks. Xavi put Spain ahead in the first half with a clinical finish. 2nd half saw both teams tinker with the formations. As Italy had started the 2nd half well on top, I decided to go more defensive to preserve the one goal lead. Seemed to be working fine, but a break in the box saw Del Piero, the sub, equalize. After that it was a hard going game in midfield with my defence also working overtime to break the attacks down. I thought i'd won it late on, but Torres (?) was adjudged unfairly to be offside as he bulleted a header home.

Overall, I'm happy enough with a point in what was a really tough game.

When I joined, the standard of teams that were already being used were the likes of Barca, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Inter... etc... I wasn't gonna go some shite team just to get humped.

I take it you don't concede much with Cech in goals. He saved EVERYTHING and pushed the ball safe, unlike my keeper who palmed a shot straight to your striker for an easy tap-in.

Argentina lost to Portugal 1-0. Would say I should've won that game since Tevez missed at least 4 one-on-ones. Not doing to well with the Argies.

Valencia 2-0 Bayern

Easily my worst ever performance at this, I was simply AWFUL.

The frustration with the game highlighted near the end though. My striker is clean through, yet the defender has the pace to not only catch him, but tackle him, despite my striker going at full pelt. At the other end, I can't get near an attacker in the same position, no matter what player it is.

Still, take nothing away from Gaz, thoroughly deserved. Just when I thought I was getting better at this, I play as bad as that.

Bah.

Tevez missed another couple when clean through. Never thought I'd scored when one crashed against the post, came back out, hit the defender and rolled about a foot wide.

Honestly, I'm so sick of passing the ball and it not going to where you are directing it to. Not that I had a chance in this game, the Celtic players are just too quick compared to the Hearts guys, but still. Another annoying game where the ball simply bounces off my guys into the path of an opposition player.

Both Celtic goals were rebounds, including one late on. Sean deserved the win though, as my players couldnae run or pass.

Do you not have too much going on at once in here guys? Folk will lose interest rapidly if there's too much going on I reckon.

I like the fact there's four leagues on the go, means you're not stuck with the same team every game, adds a bit of variety.
