As has been mentioned above Alloa were very unlucky especially in the Second Half, by far the better team and although Brown Ferguson and Iain Campbell's long range efforts were brilliantly saved by the keeper our lack of a prolific striker is becoming all too obvious. Also the fact that teams don't even need to play well and beat us is becoming increasingly hard to take. The defence looked relatively strong but conceded yet another cheap goal as Paul Harkins easily ran through our defence before beating Ray Jellema.
Where we go from here I really don't know, Alan Maitland doesn't seem to be showing any signs of resigning despite being bottom of the League with four points. Will our Board sack him, my guess would be no. Still really like Alan Maitland and think he is a quality manager but every Saturday start looking for the start of a revival he can build on and every Saturday it doesn't materialise.
On the positive side thought it was one of our better attacking performances this Season and with a Good Striker and Queens Park keeper Crawford not playing like a man possessed would have taken at least a point, but we didn't.
Never mind only the League Leaders away on Saturday.
