Mine was a game at Ibrox, I'm sure it was 1987, against Dundee. It was before the Main Stand was renovated and I was sitting on the old wooden seats.

Good question......I know it was 1968 and we lost to Aberdeen but looking at the stats we lost a game to them in April and another in September - so I'm not sure which one it was.

I've got a spreadsheet somewhere with all the Gers results streching back decades. If I can find it, I could probably let you know.
I've been trying to find a limk that's got all our results so that I can confirm when mine was
Statto has them but we lost 3-2 to Aberdeen in April 1968 and again in Oct 1968 - so it was one or the other.

1968 I reckon : Falkirk v Hearts at Brockville.
Seen the light a couple of weeks later and got on the supporters bus to Celtic Park to watch Celtic v Dunfermline.

Skol cup quatrer final at easter road against Hibs,Gordon Durie and Mickey Weir ran riot and it went to penalty kicks.
Pierce o'Leary missed the penalty which put us out, it was some game though I think it finished 4-4 aet.
My first game at parkhead was aginst Aberdeen when Bryan Gunn won man of the match it finished 0-0.

my first game was against raith rovers. i think it was the first game of the season back in 96/97 as i remember the flag being unfurled.

Mines was in 1987 too (I think it was the last game of 86/87 season
) and was also a 2-1 defeat. It was against Falkirk
