He's still got three years left on his contract. To be honest, I'm not so sure we could get more than 6 for him. Hes good most of the time, but he does suffer from the odd clanger here and there.

According to Strachan on the news he's a 2 year project, Boruc has three years on his contract so it would take a sizable bit of money for us to let him go I'd think.

Wae that left on his contract, Celtic won't be shifting him unless they either get top dollar for him or there's a buyer waiting in the wings already! Ye know, this might sound daft but if he got his head screwed on, he could be a great keeper wae the size and confidence he carries!

i wish we'd have sold boruc when we had the chance, we could have used the cash to strengthen the squad, on the subject of keepers i said it b4 on here that McGregor was going the way of Charlie miller etc , 1 good season and they think they have made it, i also think its 50/50 whether McGregor ends up a rangers hero or playing for Bolton , or Dundee united in a couple of seasons, smith was spot on to slap him down to the bench , it will be interesting to see how he reacts.


PS its also interesting how the smith/McGregor story is reported as "smith slaps McGregor down"
whereas the Strachon/mcgeady story is reported as "a rift"

I think you've sold out on Boruc early cause he made a few mistakes against us!
As for McGregor, initially I never rated him but I think he has improved big time! Wattie won't take any nonsense and after having the standard of Goram in his first term, won't be impressed wae any of McGregor's antics if he's no performing or acting the way Wattie wants him tae!
