Not sure if it has been mentioned here before, or if anyone is interested but Brian Heron and Davie Hopkin have resigned at Port Juniors.

A real shame IMO, Heron dragged the side from the arse end of the second division to the superleague 1st. He's been quoted in the local press saying that he doesn't think he can take the team any further. Jim Brown (one of senior players) will take over in the interim.

Heron had been with Port for almost 20 years in various capacities, the last 5 as manager. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Heron gets a new club very soon (Kilwinning?).
