Yeah I noticed that. One of the boys in our team heard the prices they were supposed to be offering on the game earlier in the week. IMO they were a little bit off the mark. Perhaps they have had a rethink or something! Who knows?
Wug
Spartans @ 3/1? I know nothing abput this level of football but you'd think they would beat the Lok quite comfortably, no?

Edit: They're 15/8 at Laddies so Hills looks cracking!

Hills are apparently "not prepared" to offer odds on this game now.

Are Wigtown up to much? Forres seem big at 11/8?

A source informed me Brora were to be around 5/2! No wonder they had a rethink!

I would have had 20k on that!

Where you getting 20K from? huh.gif laugh.gif

I wish they hadn't withdrawn the betting - I mean we already have a big incentive but costing you 20K would have been very nice wink.gif tongue.gif . On a more serious note I think Brora would have been overpriced at 5/2 - doesn't mean they are a total cert though.

Your source is way off the mark. I know where that came from and it was just a guess. Newton were down as favs but Brora were nothing like 5/2.

Odds might be available 2moro

Betting was never withdrawn. It has never been released. I'm hoping it might happen 2moro.

I know the South sides aren't as strong as those in the Highlands but Brora really are bad. Only team that seems to be as bad is Fort William.

Here is a preview from a Highland League site

Newton Stewart v Brora Rangers:
Once again it is a nightmare journey to the other end of Scotland but the good news for Brora Rangers is that they are probably one of the weaker teams in the tournament on paper, although I am sure they are thinking the same when looking the other way.

Their scores this season include a 6-4 defeat, a 3-3 (8-7 on penalties), and a 5-1 win over Forres' opponents Wigtown & Bladnoch but in recent weeks they have lost 7-1 to Crichton and 5-1 to Dalbeattie Star (presumably the reserve team) so confidence won't be overflowing on either side.
Pre Match Favourites: None
Rattray Prediction: Away Win (narrow)
