I reckon its just about the fairest way. Queueing up at Hampden from the crack of dawn is a nightmare.

A fair enough way of doing it. Ruaridh and Farquhar will manage to get to a PC with an internet connection I'm sure.

No, but their local libraries all do.
Not all supporters can get to Hampden to queue.
What method would you suggest the SFA use for ticket allocation? They're never going to find a system which everyone's happy with, but this seems like a fair way to me.

Went to register today but am I f**k entering my payment details when I probablt won't be buying anything.
Couldn't they leave this until the people who were getting tickets were decinded and bill them then.

Well the match is just over a fortnight away. I know it's the SFA but I'm quite sure even they will manage not to charge you should you not be successful.

So are they saying only around 24,000 SSC Members applied or are they saying there could actually be a lot more SSC Members than there are - it can't surely be both?
That aside it's the fairest way as expecting people not from Glasgow to travel and queue is a joke

I take it if you are successfull they will just take the money straight from your account without asking you to confirm pricing or anything. Bet I get landed with the £40 ones just because I said id take ones over £25.
surely not??What if you want the £40 ones and get offered shite ones in front row behind a goal?

My stepdad has entered a ballot to get tickets for this game, as a birthday present. Haven't been to a Scotland match yet, but my stepdad says there are like 9000 tickets in this ballot.

Just as per usual! Be the ''Supporters' who only started to go after we beat France last year then would be nowhere near friendlies with Northern Ireland....
Why not apply for the SSC next time round.. and allow the true fans to get the tickets!!

Incorrect, I've been going since 1985 at home and away since 1995.
The extra tickets I got will be going to genuine fans (who, incidentally were at the N Ireland game, but are not in the SSC) face value.

What price bracket did the folk who are 'still in progress' chose? Might have nothing to do with that but I chose £30.
