Well done to the reserves, still a few in amongst them that could have got on for some part tonight

CELTIC'S reserve side showed their class and maintained their 100 per cent league record, coming back from a goal behind to beat Rangers 3-1 in the first derby of the season......................................................

It was no less than Celtic deserved in the end, for their flair and imagination, with the result serving as a confidence booster for this young reserve squad, while handing them an early advantage as they go for eight-in-a-row.

Celtic reserves played well, although the ref was a bit dubious, couple of free-kicks on the edge of either boxes, which were clear free-kicks went un-given.

One of the guys at the game after Lennon shouted "stay on your feet" after your defender kept diving in and getting done, to the reply "pity you couldn't do that, eh Lennon?"

Was a spur of the moment comment, and from a Rangers point of view, best part. biggrin.gif

Yes, referees in Scotland are of a bad standard. Nothing changes, hopefully in future they can train some good ones. wink.gif

He scored 2 in the game according to the match report. I think he is someone who will always score goals for the reserves but I dont see him ever making a full breakthrough at Celtic.

Thanks. He's one of those rare breeds ie a footballer with intelligence. Hopefully his day will come but I agree it probably won't be at Celtic.

He just looks like many players that we have – perhaps got raw talent but appears to be very slight which will hold him back.
