Superb performances this afternoon, Samaras stole it for me. if he had not hit the post with the run in from his right when he beat the goalie then it would have been a stunner of a goal, as it was the pace he showed when running away from the defenders when he score was very similar to hat he did on this first appearence for us when he came on as a sub. Crosas was immense albeit he lost the ball a few times wanting a bit more time.

Great performance smile.gif more of that please

If memory serves that was against 'Kilmarnock' as well, in the cup. So the fact that on both occasions he ran past Frazer Wright kind of takes the gloss off it for me!

Sad to say that impressive cup performance was for nought as the side then served up a veritable dog egg against lowly Aberdeen in the following round.

The first half at Motherwell and Today are shoots of recovery, but we are veering from the sublime to the ridiculous and are still carrying too many poor players for my liking.

Crosas was excellent as was Brown- best game , IMO , in a Celtic shirt. Maybe his good performance was overlooked cos Samaras & Crosas stole the limelight? Thought he was quietly effective.

Crosas looked good, but a few times was caught napping on possession. He needs to watch on that, as in Europe, a good player would have punished Celtic.

He got caught holding the baw' no long before he was subbed.Think he was tiring & that's why WGS hooked him. Looks like a direct replacement for Donatti to me

You don't think Crosas is any better than Donatti?

I thought Brown was excellent for Celtic. Looked like he was taking far more responsibility.

I would like to see the penalty from the other side, but if not, surely the standing on Naka and the slapping his head warrants some form of action?

I was surprised he got away with that slap, it's a form of lifting your hands, and IMO, should have seen red. Nakamura defo dived though.

The other 2 were stonewallers.

Kilmarnock should be sanctioned by having Frazer 'play' in their team for the rest of the season.

Yes. I think he was also the one that mistook Maloney for the ball in the first half. sad.gif
