Just wondering if anyone has used this site before and is it decent? My budget is £300 max. I move to London in a couple of weeks, so after something cheap but decent enough. All I use my pc for is Football Manager, Internet, Poker applications and Windows Media Player. Any tips on what I should be looking at/for?

Kind regards

I would recommend Dell, Ebuyer, Novatech for buying laptops. I have used all 3 and have not had a problem with any of them.

I wouldnt recommend getting Vista preloaded unless it came with at least 2Gb memory. Even then, I would probably still go for XP.

Even though your not needing a high end laptop for the things you have listed you want to be able to do on it, Windows XP will run alot better with 1Gb than Vista ever will.

You can run Vista Basic on 1GB of memory perfectly fine. I do and never had any performance issues with it.
