Burley was down watching John Kennedy last night, but unfortunately he suffered an ankle injury...clicky thing So who's going to take Captain Calamity's place v Norway?
Berra gets my vote and hopefully he can make the position his own (plz).

Barr.
But who'll be captain without Captain Ned and McManus.

Fletcher will almost certainly be captain.
I think we need a big physical commanding centre-back to partner Caldwell, because of the threat of Carew. I'm not sure that Barr is strong enough, but I don't think Berra's good enough either. I would imagine Burley will have to choose one of those two though.

Dare I say it, Captain Kirk Klubfoot?

David Weir is a likely replacement for McManus, in terms of both captaincy and position.
Kirk Broadfoot could also do well but perhaps his inevitable captaincy should be delayed, for now .Another (of "greater ability") should be chosen, but not bloody Darren Fletcher - I've always thought that he could be the lead character in some Harry Potter spin-off: "Darren Fletcher and the phantasmal footballing ability" perhaps.

Captain is a total irrelevance. Just give it to the guy nearest the ref before kick off and he can toss the coin. Means nothing.
Will probably be Weir standing in for McManus at CH if fit.

They will probably bring weir in but i would like to see berra given a chance.
Fletcher will definently be captain. Im not sayin he should be, but he will.

Weir will come in at CB at captian. I'd imagine it'll be his final match in a Scotland jersey.

It has to be Weir in a game like this. I dont think you can risk Berra or Barr. I suppose anythings better than McDumplin

Broadfoot and Caldwell has to be if Hutton is back at right back of course. You can see we are going back to the dark days when people are pushing for Broadfoot to be in the first eleven.

I was assuming David Weir had called it a day, but seemingly he hasn't, so I'd imagine he'd go straight in with Hutton or Kaptain Kirk at right back.

Is there a reason why Russell Anderson has been left out? I think he's as good as just about anything we've in at the minute. Ideal world McManus/Caldwell & Weir across the middle but outside of that we're clutching for a solid balance.

How do you justify that? Anderson is a good centre back....better than Weir, Caldwell, Berra and Barr.

Why have a succession of Scotland managers thought otherwise?

Anderson /Barr/Berra - chances of starting: 0% (barring mass injury)
It will be Weir

Yeah, that's maybe not the greatest argument for your cause though.
