I was messing around with the view tab on FF (FF2) to attempt to get my bebo and facebook pages to show up properly again. However something I have done has ended with me now not being able to see certain things like the P&B banner or being able to open the fast reply. Any ideas how to sort this?

Got any more information on what you did. What is the "view tab"? Are you saying you've been playing around with the way P&B displays things, or that all webpages you go to are encountering problems?

View that is between Edit and History in the toolbar. I changed various things so don't know what needs changed back. Originally P&B was fine but Bebo and Facebook were showing in an almost text only format. Now that I mucked about with it, it shows Bebo and Facebook fine however P&B's banner doesn't show nor does the fast reply work or when I'm posting there are no options for smilies or to change the formatting on the post. Also when I go to Ask.co.uk none of the usual pictures show just a text box.

Ah, right, ok. Wasn't sure if this is something else you were meaning, as there really is only one option in the View menu that could cause the problem, and than is the Page Style which should (for P&B at least) have two options; No Style and Basic Page Style. Check to make sure it's set to Basic Page Style.

Yes it was set to that still cheers. What should the character enconding be set to?

Depends on the pages you are likely to be viewing, considering it's most likely to be Western language based sites you can set it to that "Western ISO-8859-1".

So it's not just me that is having problems with this. I can't get onto my bebo page and any of the people I know on there,and P&B has gone a bit nuts,as has some other sites.

I'm glad it really wasn't my fault,as the other half acused me of fucking the computer up.
